Upasana Eco Resort

Location was nice as I was looking for calm & peace . Breakfast was on time. Owner Mr. Deepnarayan is a nice person. Thats all positive.

1. It is a super small resort. You can call it a moderate size house rather. 2. Room is more or less specious, mine was no 9. 3. Food is pathetic in a word. They have very few menus to choose from and that too with horrible taste. They do not have any restaurants !! SURPRISING. 4. Most of the time they say no to provide any of your service. 5. No mineral water bottle they provide. 6. Bathroom was super small and had fewer toiletries. 7. In the parking space they can accommodate 1 big and 1 small car, however they arrange an open parking space opposite to the resort. 8. They don’t change their towels and linen everyday which is not acceptable.

An awesome experience. Felt like home...the staff was lovely. And to mention the owner and his wife....such lovely people. They made our Christmas even more special with their warmth, Christmas gifts and celebrations.....

There is nothing that we didn't like. A perfect holiday.

Breakfast was excellent. The interactions with the owner of the property and his entire staff was very friendly, helpful and cordial.

We got a corner room with a wonderful view of the paddy fields. The bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water being available. The food was decent. The property could also put us in touch with people who could provide transportation. The toto driver, in particular, provided great service.

The resort does not have any space inside to allow visitors to take a walk. Since the resort has a remote location, in the evening it is not advisable to go out for a walk. The food was somewhat monotonous.

Great communication after booking, making it very easy to reach the resort. The biggest thing about Upasana is its amazing food - tasty, low oil, flavourful, fresh local ingredients, served with great care in a tastefully decorated dining room.. beats the more publicised Barishaler rannaghar, etc, anyday. The entire resort is squeaky clean and cheerful with seasonal flowers. Don't expect a big property, but a small cosy relaxing ambience. Must also write about the owner-manager Mr Dutta, who is a wonderful host and conversationalist, and staff who went out of their way to pack breakfast for us at 4.45 am as we had a train to catch. I am definitely going back to this place;

Breakfast was very good !! Location is good, its clam and quite and was easy to locate. The programme of Boul Gan was superb and all of us enjoyed the same !!

The menu of dinner could have been better.
