Mövenpick Hotel & Resort Al Bida'a

Fantastic 2-day stay at the Mövenpick Hotel & Resort Al Bida’a! The beachfront location provided stunning views, and the entire property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and attentive to our needs. We highly recommend this resort for a relaxing getaway and would love to return. I recommend the half board option as both the breakfast and dinner were amazing and have many delicious varieties. I had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick Hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a beautiful view that made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel services were excellent, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. I particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and the beach area, which were clean, relaxing, and perfect for spending quality time. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options and high-quality food. I would also like to make special mention of Mr. Wasim and Ms. Sweetie at the reception desk for their exceptional hospitality, and warm welcome. Their kindness and willingness to assist made my stay even more pleasant and memorable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The only downside was that our food order at the beach took quite a while to arrive. However, considering the Eid holiday crowds, this was understandable and did not affect our overall positive experience.

Stayed here during the Eid holiday and had a mixed experience. The positives first – the food at Breeze Restaurant was good, and the private beach was clean, well maintained, and definitely one of the highlights of the stay.

- We booked a half-board package, but at check-in desk no information was provided about breakfast, lunch, or dinner timings, which restaurant was included, or where it was located. Upon asking they mentioned it hurriedly. A simple welcome briefing would have made a big difference. You maybe fully booked for Eid but don't let that reflect on the service. - The rollaway bed provided was disappointing for a 5-star hotel. The bed frame was visibly worn and damaged, particularly around the corners, and did not reflect the standard expected from a luxury property. - The blanket supplied with the extra bed was basic in appearance (floral and not the usual white quilt). Moreover, it was torn at the edge. This was particularly disappointing given the room rate and hotel category. - The shower gel dispenser in the bathroom was empty upon arrival, which should have been checked while prepping the room for guest arrival. - At Breeze Restaurant, the beverages were not on display at the counter. Hence we were not sure of what beverage is included in the half board package and what will incur an additional charge. We had to ask the waiter. While the food quality and beach facilities were good, the stay lacked small details that define a true 5-star experience. Being fully booked during Eid Al Adha may explain some lags, but it should not impact service standards, room readiness, guest communication, or the quality of extra bedding provided. With better attention to detail, the overall guest experience could be significantly improved.
