Lumbung Bukit Resort Uluwatu

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, der Service war super und das Personal war 24/7 erreichbar und super nett! Die Lage war gut, man hat in Rollernähe von 6 Minuten wirklich sehr viele Restaurants und Cafés. Der Pool war sauber und gepflegt. Auch das Bad war sehr große es war für uns die beste Unterkunft auf Bali und wir würden immer wieder kommen.

Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt in diesem Resort wirklich genossen! Die Atmosphäre war entspannt und herzlich – besonders die kleinen Katzen, die uns regelmäßig begrüßt haben, haben den Aufenthalt noch besonderer gemacht. Das Personal war super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit bei Fragen oder Anliegen. Der Strand war in ca. 5 bis 10 Minuten erreichbar – ein Roller ist definitiv praktisch, wenn man auch die Umgebung erkunden möchte. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, gepflegt und ich habe mich jederzeit sicher und wohl gefühlt. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt – ich komme gerne wieder!

I liked that it was quite quiet and as close to the sort of center of Uluwatu. Small property and possibility to use the kitchen for some homemade meals/drinks.

Water should be given more generously, as you cannot wash your teeth with the tap water. You get one small water bottle per person, but I think there should be more access to drinkable water. In the rooms, your need hangers, so that you hang your stuff. As well outside on the little terrace.

We stayed at Rate Lumbung Bukit during Nyepi, Bali’s silent day, which meant our first 24 hours were spent mostly at the resort. Luckily, we were still able to use the pool, and it turned out to be a peaceful, relaxing way to begin the trip. The chalet-style lumbungs are full of charm and made for a really unique stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a surprisingly handy little kitchen – we used it a few times, though it could benefit from a few more basic ingredients to cook with. The staff were genuinely kind and always tried to help, even though there were a few language barriers here and there. They also arranged a scooter for us at a fair rate, which made getting around really easy. We’d seen comments about thin walls, but we didn’t have any issues with sound. And being just a 5–10 minute ride from Uluwatu’s main cafes and beaches meant we had the best of both worlds – close to the action, but far enough to feel calm and tucked away. All in all, a really great and well-priced stay – would happily return.
