"A piece of paradise with the right price tag"

Pretty much alone in a resort just 2min away from a secluded beach. Very helpful owner and his staff always at our disposal. Sunbeds, hammocks and the coconut grove you can forget about the rest of the world.

Breakfast is yummy however very basic and gets repetitive after a few days.

The location, as it’s about 50m away from the beach. Odayam beach was pretty empty and clean when we were there. The room was clean with a nice balcony. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was both plentiful and tasty. The manager of the property was also extremely helpful and friendly.

"Quiet escape by Odayam beach, Varkala"

The best part about this property is the location. It’s literally a two minute walk to Odayam beach which is probably the only swimmable beach in Varkala. Perfect for you to start your day with a dip in the ocean and watch the sunset as well. The owner was super friendly and helpful with his suggestions of activities around and things to do. He arranged a bike for us which made things easy and convenient. A ride to the famous varkala cliff is about 10 minutes by bike or a 25 minute walk through the beach ( this could get dark at night). This area has all the restaurants and shops in the region and we obviously kept heading there for our meals. All important sites are about a maximum of 15 minutes by bike. The other beaches around are Edava and Kappil but one can skip these as it is not possible to swim here. Special mention of the two boys who always served with a smile. I would definitely recommend this place

The property doesn’t have an in- house restaurant but the cliff is 10 minutes away and the owner can assist with ordering food from a neighbouring restaurant if required. I wouldn’t say I really disliked anything. The place is definitely value for money. However the accommodation is quite basic so make sure you’re on board with that before booking. The property is clean though and a few touches to spruce the place up could really elevate the experience
