Het hele park ligt langs een weg dat echt ‘s avonds en ‘s nachts zeer veel geluidsoverlast geeft van auto’s en scooters. Dit is overal zeer luidruchtig. Verder fijn verblijf gehad met zeer goede keuken in restaurant en zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Beautiful property set right on the beach. Gorgeous swimming pools and delicious food served in the restaurant. Breakfast was good although we were unable to fill our water bottles from The water tap which seemed a little ridiculous. The rooms are gorgeous!

They provide mosquito nets and spray but there were a lot of bugs, compared with other areas we stayed as the doors don’t completely shut.

Gluten free options could be better especially for breakfast

The staff were very nice and the property was beautiful with an excellent restaurant. The two pools were nice to swim in. The easy access to the beach for surfing was great although said beach had a lot of garbage washing up.

It’s a bit isolated from outside community so not easy to walk to access a minimart etc. Our room had A/C pointed directly at the beds which were only outfitted with sheets (no comforters) so it was hard to get comfortable while sleeping.

Great staff, really lovely gardens, clean pools, tasty breakfast and cocktails, beautiful sunset views. Comfortable classic lodge room which was nice and private.

Not enough choice for local foods on the menu (would benefit from adding 3-4 different local foods to try). Some parts of the common areas looked worn and tired (pools missing tiles in many places). The nearby beach is not great for swimming. Lots of rocks and debris in the water, lots of rubbish on the beach. Better for surfing. But the path down to the beach is not lit or well maintained. The resort is very isolated and the nearest ATM or shop is a 25 minute walk away. The Grab drivers found it a bit hard to get to due to very poorly maintained roads.

Sehr schöne Bungalows mit eigenem Garten. Benachbarte Bungalows sind so gut wie nicht einsehbar. Sehr gutes Frünstück und Abendessen. Leider ist meine Frau bereits am 2. Tag gestürzt und hat sich das Handgelenk und das Sprunggelenk gebrochen. Schnell lief das Personal zusammen. Frau Begi organisierte das Hoteltaxi und begleitete uns in die Klinik. Auch auf 2 weiteren Klinikfahrten begleitete sie uns. Das gesamte Personal kümmerte sich rührend um uns, Frühstück und Abendessen wurden in den Bungalow gebracht. Wir konnten 5 Tage verlängern bis der Krankenrücktransport gebucht war. An dieser Stelle nochmal herzlichen Dank an das gesamte Personal!

I regularly visit La joya and apart from weather being a bit wild this time i thought it was excellent . Very relaxed and restful. Staff were gentle and lovely as always. The food was delicious .and yoga lady was lovely too. Thanks again see you next year 🙂

I think it's time the decking around the restaurant pool was repaired/ replaced.. very much felt it was a tripping hazard last few times I've visited. ..and getting worse , otherwise all good.
