Sukorn Andaman Beach Resort

3rd visit in as many years. Better and better. A real jewel.

The weather this year had unseasonal moodswings.

Die Lage war super, direkt am Strand. Wir konnten im Resort 2 Motorräder mieten, waren zwar alte knüpfen, doch der Preis stimmte. Das Restaurant im Resort war auch sehr gut. Rund um die Anlage wurde jeden Tag sauber gemacht, auch der Strand wurde gereinigt.

Die Anlage ist in die Jahre gekommen und hat eine renovation nötig. Wir waren vor 9 Jahren schon einmal hier und es hat sich nichts geändert. Die Matratzen sind sehr hart und unter dem Bett sammeln sich die Wollmäuse und Ka........

Super séjour loin du tourisme de masse. Un vrai bonheur. Établissement situé sur une plage très agréable où l'on peut se baigner à marée haute comme à marée basse. Le personnel est juste incroyable. La nourriture est exceptionnelle, un vrai régal. Un grand merci à Sam et son équipe. Nous avions eu un soucis de porte, Sam l'a reparé en moins de deux minutes pendant que nous dinions, mieux que dans un palace. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. C'est vraiment paisible, calme, zen. Confort sommaire mais bonheur immense, nous avons super bien dormi.

Staff and owner were great. Location was beautiful with very nice beach that was pretty clean even beyond property (trash on beach can be an issue in rural Thailand). Food at restaurant was good. Very laid back island. Very good value for money. Although this is jungle environment where some insects and geckos are to be expected, more attention to cleaning and a bit of freshening up of bungalow so fewer intruders would make this an outstanding resort for money.

We were in Deluxe Bungalow, second row from beach. These are very basic Bungalows with good air conditioning. Quite an assortment of bugs feeding the many geckos, so a very "live" environment to sleep in. Cleaning could be much improved. I would insist on front row bungalow next time. Superior Bungalows attached (duplex style) and did not look any more upscale. Wife has health issues and uncontrolled smoking in restaurant was an issue. A smoking or non-smoking section/half of restaurant would be easy to implement at no cost.

The perfect place to stay for a quiet island vibe, friendly staff, bungalows on the beach and with everything you need right there for relaxation (restaurant, Thai massage, bicycles & motorbike rental, free kayaks, warm & gentle sea, clean beach and resort). Wonderful people that run this laid back budget accommodation in a super location. Excellent value!!
