Food was not that tasty

Lovely concept. Loved the hell week. Beautiful location.

Food options were limited. Could offer more amenities for children.

Location: The location if pretty off-beat in Lonavala. Never seen this side of Lonavala. Property & Room: The property is big and so is the room size. The room we stayed had 2 double beds easily fitting 4 adults. The bathroom was having a jacuzzi bath tub, shower section which had electronically controlled steam room, small safe locker, and space to keep luggage. Theme: The property associates themselves to the real armed forces and so is their entire theme of the room. The attention to detail is impeccable. Staff & Service: The staff was very friendly, attentive & available at all times. They made our stay more comfortable since we were travelling with 1 year old kid. They helped with food request for our kid every time and it was really kind of them when they surprised us with cake celebration for our kid's birthday. Activities: There are plenty of activities which I would have loved to explore. But since we were there with our little one, we decided to just relax & chill. Note: Most activities are paid which will be briefed to you.

Location Access: You cannot reach the location on your own. One has to park their vehicle or reach Della Resort first. The person has to wait for their transport vehicle i.e. a 4x4 SUV or Military style Truck whichever is available. The vehicle will take you from Point A to Point B and it is a very 45 minutes bumpy ride since roads are not developed. Not recommended at all for Senior Citizens, Pregnant Women, and Kids below <2 years (we really were holding our 1 year kid very tight & she wasn't comfortable for 45 minutes). I have been told by the staff that in Monsoon, these roads are even bad as there are small landslides from the sides. Unless the road is constructed, this travel can be dangerous. And from Point B, either you have to hike / walk for 20 odd minutes or take a 10 minute boat ride (not exactly a boat. Its just a plank with plastic chairs attached with the motor). Food: The food quality and taste was good but not outstanding considering they call themselves a 4-5 star property. Also, their Breakfast Buffet was very very basic. In fact 1 day it was more of ala carte style since there were low customer count. Also, both days the breakfast was the same. There is a big scope of improvement.
