Pawikan Boutique Hotel

Staff were so lovely and accommodating! Amazing hospitality and going out of their way to make sure we had breakfast despite our extra early departure!

The room was really comfortable - we slept so well! The staff were amazing and friendly. It's a short 10-15 minute walk to the main area where all the eateries are, and a 5-minute tuktuk ride to the beach where you can swim with the sardines. There's also a quieter beach that's a minute's walk away. A shout-out to Angel who went the extra mile to help me out when I wasn't feeling well one evening. Thank you so much :)

Ladies that work at Pawikan are lovely, so friendly, tasty breakfast and very accommodating. The room was very comfortable - big, bright and clean and the walk to the main town centre (close to dive shops) was about 10/15mins if you cut through Cebu Fun Divers resort which we thought was very convenient.

The roosters at 4am in the neighbouring garden!!!! We really didn’t sleep very well and could hear them even with earplugs. It is such a shame as the property and staff are absolutely great but unfortunately for us the noise was too much. Appreciate this is a problem in rural areas but it didn’t help the fact that the property next door housed chickens and dogs.

The staff were absolutely amazing, they arranged tuktuks for us when we wanted to go into town, they were always super polite and friendly, they were lifesavers on the final day when our private transfer to the airport cancelled the staff found us one immediately to get us there on time. Diane was extremely helpful.

Cleaning took a while (one day we arrived at 4pm and they still hadn’t gotten to it), and not super close to the Main Street. Breakfast was okay

The bed was really good and the breakfast.

The location was really bad. I mean the road going to the location was really bumpy. We rented a motorbike just to go to the beach. A lot of dogs on the streets and too dark on the way in.

The staff were kind and helpful! The room was spacious. However, the bed was rather hard and the last day we were there the electricity turned off (which connected to the water supply) and we were unable to shower or use water. We don’t know how long it was off for as we had to leave the same day.

The breakfast food that was included could have more options. But the staff were always on time with the food.
