Masseria D'Erchia

The beautiful old building has been restored tastefully, both its interior and exterior are delightful. Our room was spacious, had everything we needed whilst also being decorated minimally. Breakfast was a very good selection of cakes, pastries, cold meats etc. eggs and bacon upon request. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. It would be hard for someone not to enjoy staying here, the only thing people might not like is that it isn’t in the centre of Monopoli but being a Masseria guests should expect this and welcome it. It is only a 5/10 minute drive or 15/20 minute walk from Monopoli. I would recommend getting a car if staying in the area.

The masseria is so beautiful & serene, & very stylishly decorated which made it a true pleasure to stay in. The breakfast was delicious, prepared by the lovely Anna who made us feel extremely welcome every morning. Ezia & her husband & all the staff were extremely helpful & friendly, & went out of their way to welcome us & entertain our 14 month old daughter Olivia, bringing her little toys to play with. The room was outstanding, the pool area very nicely done with comfortable loungers & the team were happy to bring very tasty cocktails to us down there!

I loved the property but we could have benefitted from a very simple lunch or dinner menu being provided to save us having to order in when we didn’t fancy a trip into town as there isn’t anything in walking distance. That said I knew it was a breakfast only hotel & would definitely go back.

Gorgeous and exquisite Masseria, located 5 min away from Monopoli‘s old town led by lovely owners! Every edge and corner of the historical building has been renovated with love and passion for details! You definitely have to ask for Events or cooking classes, it was so much fun! Looking forward to our next visit.

Masseria D'Erchia is a beautiful gem, hidden in plain sight in Monopoli. The hotel and facilities are stunning, especially the decorations: highly curated spaces that portray the care and dedication the family has for it. The staff was lovely and very caring with us, more so with our 3 year old daughter :). Overall, highly recommend this hotel.

The perimeter road around the property is not properly managed and plans are not trimmed. This caused my car to get scratched. Unpleasant to say the least! Unacceptable for 5 stars

Beautiful masseria not far from the beach and center of Monopoli. The breakfast, pool and rooms are all top-notch and the owner and whole staff are very friendly and always willing to assist with inquiries. The whole family felt at home from the start!

Unbeatable value for money. The family ran place is stunning, room was amazing it felt like being in a luxurious castle. The whole Masseria is nested in a green environment, scents of flowers and Jasmin. It is a maze of small gardens, hidden stairs and secret spaces inhabited by butterflies. Beautiful. Two pools in an incredible setting. Breakfast was brilliant and, glazing on the cake, the staff is extremely nice and helpful. The entire place is super clean, beautifully decorated and quiet although only 5 minutes from downtown Monopoli and Santo Stefano beach (where they have prebooked a spot for you). Will definitely come back and recommend to everyone.
