Sabine Hay Barn

It is a beautiful barn to stay and very clean and comfortable just a shame about the dislikes

It wasn't private at all. Very over looked by people staying in other barns and campers. Didn't use the outdoor facilities due to this. The noise was ridiculous morning and evening. Also there was a huge wasp nest which isn't the best when your allergic.

The staff were very friendly ! Henry is the cutest dog! Got welcomed by some peacocks who kept us company each day ! The barn is beautiful , very cosy and clean! The views were amazing ! The hot tub was so nice! We didn’t want to leave! Couldn’t recommend enough! It’s amazing!

Absolutely stunning location, I am very emotional over the fact that I have to leave!! The views are breathtaking and the cows and peacocks approach the barn, freely roaming across the farm. The hot tub was a beautiful and special experience, especially at night time. We will definitely come back.

Unfortunately, we were unaware that Duke of Edinburgh students would’ve been camping close to the barn prior to our stay. They were extremely noisy/screaming during the daytime, deterring my partner from wanting to sit outside at times. We waited all day yesterday to use the games room since the D of E students were in there all day. We read in the manual that the games room closed at 11, so because the D of E students were in there when we checked at 8:45 we thought we’d come back later. We came back and the games room was closed with a sign saying “no Duke of Edinburgh students allowed” even though they ignored this and stayed in there all day :( (my partner was looking forward to using this facility). However, everything else was absolutely perfect.

Mark initially gave us the keys and a look round, lovely guy. Hot tub was ready to go, heating was already on. It was a great start. The cabin had everything you'd need, working and easy to use. The place was perfect. Including the mooing cows, vibrant peacocks and goofy alpacas. Close to Matlock, Buxton and Bakewell but far enough away to feel in the countryside.

I have for once got nothing to say here. Place was top notch 10/10.

Been here a few times now and it's never disappointed. Staff are so friendly and always on hand to help. The Barn is immaculately clean and in the perfect location for a relaxing stay. Would highly recommend it to anyone. Can't speak highly enough
