Rustling Pines at Knaresborough Lido

Very clean!

The caravan was lovely clean very comfortable very up to date.

We appreciated the quietness of the chalet site and the countryside feel to it. The chalet was comfortable, well maintained and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and utensils for preparing own meals. The info provided by the owners prior to checkin via booking.com was comprehensive. There was a retail park very close to the site [5 min walk) with an m&s which we found really useful for a few food provisions we needed. The owners suggested a lovely local walk directly from the site which was followed on the first evening.

Nothing, all good.

It was clean and well supplied. Most of the rooms were very bright. The beds were very comfortable, the seating area and table were great, and really spacious. The kitchen and utensils were great. There was much more there than we had expected to find. On the whole we were really impressed with the caravan itself.

The welcome pack was terrible. It consisted of a print out of the email I had already received a few days prior, a few leaflets and info on the electrics and gas. Nothing about access around the rest of the site, as there was a gate across that part. So we had no idea if we could we drive around it to have a look, as two of our party had reduced mobility and could not walk that far The beds had legs that were trip hazards. There were no instructions as to how to operate the fire or TV or what all the remote controls were for. We never found that out at all. We didn't know how to operate the folding sofa bed and the section where it was stored was already broken so we didn't even try to use it. I had to just lay the bedding on the sofa and sleep on that. The view was just of other caravans. The onsite pub where we had intended to eat each night was not open, which was not stated at any time before arrival We ended up leaving after only one night and going home. So sorry initially being over the moon with the caravan, we went home disappointed.

The area was lovely, well maintained and looked after. Everyone was so friendly, will definitely be booking again.

Very comfy, clean and tidy would definitely come back again.

Only one comment would be the window in the kitchen seating area has a draft through it as there is a slight gap in the top of the window. Didn’t effect our stay at all but just wanted to mention it if you wasn’t aware of it.

It was spacious and very clean.

It would have been nice to have a little welcome pack even if it was just a small bottle of milk especially as we were arriving late Christmas Eve.
