Tan-y-Dderwen Pod

Beautiful views, stream, and oak trees surround the pod. The family are warm and welcoming and do anything for you. Our car got stuck going up to the pod, and they towed us out. The pod was clean and comfortable, had the kitchen things you need for a week stay. The bathroom was clean and water piping hot. The water is so soft it is lovely for your hair and skin, no horrid chemicals. I loved doing yoga and mediation on the decking area and sitting watching the sun rise and set, listening to the wildlife. The bed is comfortable. So lovely having no TV, so after a long day out enjoying Wales, take a shower and have food and drink, it's great to have early nights ☺️ There is a great hot tub and was set up for us on the first night; good to soothe aching feet and warm up in. Takes around 4 hours to warm up, so think on. The farm is close to Machynlleth which is a town that has cafes and pubs and food and shops. The locals are very friendly and helpful. I loved spending time in Wales and in this pod, it's a definite place to return to and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the lovely countryside!

The fridge through the night makes a noise. Something needed that can be pulled out from the wall to dry damp towels and wet clothing. A cosy rug was missing and big squidgy cushions on the sofa to nestle into before bed or lean on to read. For the bed larger quilt and higher tog needed and a big blanket for the top as it gets chilly at night.

The pod was brilliant. The location is wonderful, no nearby neighbours that could be seen or heard. The pod itself was very clean and spacious. The hot tub was fabulous, no complaints about it whatsoever. Very easy to use and easy to keep alit.

great location easy for us to get to as we were Travelling from Anglesey so peaceful and we love check in just pull up and the key is in the door

We miss the drink holder on the hot tub that was there on previous visit, but thats a very minor thing and wont stop us returning hopefully next year

The location was great. It was secluded in a field on a farm. We had no signal whilst there which was really nice to be able to switch off. (We did download a film or two before arriving). The views from the room and hot tub were brilliant.

Stunning location. Quite place, cosy little pod house with beautiful views. If you want to use the hot tub, take into consideration that it takes around 4 hours until the water is ready. it was too late before it was ready, and being tired, we gave up on using it.

We arrived very late, after it got dark and we couldn't see the pod house. It would be wonderful if it were lit up to be seen by those who arrive after sunset.
