Lucker mill shepherds huts

Independent and supporting local, great craftsmanship and attention to detail. Peaceful location and setting yet close to all the places you’d want to visit in the area. Laura and Kerwin great hosts and there if you need them.

That we couldn’t stay longer, very sorry we had to leave to go back to work!!

The hut was gorgeous. So special and different from the 'usual' hotel stays. It had real character and was perfect for days out by the coast :) And Laura is lovely, checking how we were getting on without being intrusive at all and posting items we left behind (very appreciated!!). Perfect for a day trip to the Farne islands (would very much recommend, seen in other pictures!)

The shower took some getting used to but the sign explaining how to do it was very helpful :)

Beautiful surroundings and perfect shepherds huts. Everything was clean, tidy and well kept. Easy covered gas bbq and a cool fire pit room

Could do with a second toilet and sink, otherwise fantastic

How quite it was

Nothing at all

I like the unique experience of being able to stay at shepherd's hut. Laura made you feel very welcome, providing logs for the fire and everything you need.

Because I cook everything, I really missed a hob as there was only a microwave. I am not used to eating microwave foods, therefore, it would have been great if there was this facility in the kitchen. Thank you

Super location for the coast and only 5 min from the A1. Spotlessly clean and peaceful. Fantastic facilities. We will be back!!!
