The views from hotel were nice as it’s right on the beach and the staff on site were helpful in trying to resolve the problems we had.

Upon arrival after a full day spent travelling, there was no electricity and no running water so we couldn’t shower. We wanted to go into the sea to cool off but then they said the beach was closed at 5pm when we could have gone in earlier if we had been told. When the electricity came back on several hours later, there was no wifi. When the water returned, we went to use the shower and the bathroom had cockroaches. We moved rooms and our second room had no cockroaches (we plugged all drainage holes as soon as we entered) but there was a scorpion in the room. Understandably we wanted to move hotels but with no wifi we had to stay one night, and didn’t sleep well at all because of the problems we had. When we left the next morning the hotel said they would transfer us to the next hotel we had booked however the taxi driver then charged us for the trip when we were told it was covered. We were booked for 5 nights but left after one. We were eventually refunded for our stay, but this took weeks of chasing back and forth with the owner and booking.com. The owner ignored all messages after we left the accommodation. However, Booking.com were very helpful in trying to resolve the matter and we were thankful that they were on our side.

Food was fantastic Location was great.

Facilities were tired. Lacked a lot of extras like a fridge. Staff were very nice but lacked a professionalism.

Will def recommend to family/friends. The morning view is to die for, exactly what I was looking for. Food was good & decently priced. Staff were very accommodating & nice.

Absolutely Disgusting – Misrepresented, Unsafe, and Offensive This was by far the worst experience I've had with any property booked online. Do not be fooled by the photos or vague descriptions — this place is grossly misrepresented and completely unfit for any kind of stay. We left immediately upon arrival and forfeited our money just to get away from the filth and danger. (They refused to refund our payment even though we did not stay at all) Let’s start with the basics: the property is run-down, moldy, and structurally questionable, with a roof that looks like it's one storm away from collapsing. The room we were shown reeked of damp rot — the kind of smell that screams long-term water damage and potential black mold. There is no actual reception, just a sad little sign stuck to a patio. (See pics) Despite paying $260 in advance — an absurd price for the Philippines, we were stopped at the gate by a hostile man appearing to be an officer and forced to pay an unlisted “entry fee.” Nothing about this was disclosed on Booking.com. It felt aggressive, sketchy, and extortionate. In addition, we had to be back inside the entry gate by 9pm! There is no Wi-Fi, despite it being advertised. For a location this isolated — in the middle of nowhere with absolutely nothing nearby — that’s unacceptable. You’re trapped on the property and gouged by their overpriced restaurant, where parasitic street dogs lie on the tables you’re expected to eat at. Disgusting and a serious health concern. Staff were superficially polite but completely unaccommodating. They know the place is a dump and don’t care. We were offered a decaying deck in full sun and told they could “decorate with balloons” for a birthday. I’ve seen more effort at a gas station. Avoid this place at all costs. Misleading listings, hidden fees, safety issues, moldy rooms, zero service, and visible neglect. This place should be delisted from every booking site. We felt scammed, unsafe, and disgusted.

The power went out so we had to check out and find another property - this just shows the power outage was localised to this property only. An hour before arriving I asked if they could organise transport from the dock and they refused. My adult son fell sick and we needed to see the doctor and we had to wait an hour for transport due to the location. Requested a refund as we only stayed 1/3 nights and they refused. Not very helpful staff.

Great location ,Quite, good value,clean room.friendly helpfull staff. Jelly Resort is not really a "resort"with all the amenities you would expect from a "resort"but that is just a little naming issue. Jelly is a very nice.well run hotel/homestay.wich is located on one side of Salagdoon beach .witch is gated and and styled as a public beach resort. Wich gets very busy during the day with local family groups ect. but at night they all leave and you are left to enjoy this buetifull spot on your own .same with the morning . good safe snorkeling right on your doorstep. Great friendly staff willing to assist you with any requests. I will definitely be back .
