Payam Cabana

Great food. As the tide is quite heavy you cannot swim during the day if it is low tide. The are is very calm and indeed beautiful. Owners are very nice and always helpful. If you want some days to explore the marine life, the mangroves and the moken people allow yourself a few days here.we stayed 6 days and found it suitable.

The host family is very friendly and welcoming. They are also great cooks. You can take pleasant morning walks at the beach. At night you can hear the jungle wake up sometimes.

At night the room was quite dark. A bit more light would do the trick. Or more indirect lighting for the evenings.

We LOVED staying here!! Beautiful and quiet location. We stayed in the wooden huts, which were clean and the beds very comfortable. The food was the best we had on the island. It may take a bit longer as Jimmy does all the cooking by herself, but it’s well worth the wait!! The owners are so lovely, extremely hardworking and very helpful as they advised us on where to rent a scooter (necessity on this island) and arranged a taxi to the pier for our departure. We will definitely come back!!

This place is very good, the facilities are comfortable, there's a lovely little porch, and the staff is fantastic. So nice and welcoming. Highly recommend.

We had the best time at Payam cabana!! the place and huts at the beach were very beautiful and Jok and his wife were more than friendly and welcoming. We would always come back, big recommendation! the food is very good as well :)
