All I can say is that Thala Beach Nature Reserve is fabulous and if you love nature and natural beauty I highly recommend it as the perfect place for a quiet or romantic get-away.

Beautiful accomodation and incredible thought and detail went into everything. Views at breakfast were phenomenal! Very supportive and accomodating staff, big thank you for a lovely stay

The grounds were gorgeous, and the staff was outstanding

There were lots of uneven paths and our bungalow was not close to the main property

Nice to encounter nature right outside your door! The pool was a highlight, really unique.

It would’ve been ideal to have a kitchenette in the room.

The exclusivity and private bungalow per guest was very nicely laid out. With golf buggy’s available to take you around the property 24/7. Along with the beds in the rooms are so comfy, and to wake up to the birdlife is such a nice way to start your days. Really wish my partner and I had’ve booked longer to make the most of the whole Port Douglas area with so many tours/experiences & day trips on offer.

Bungalow facilities & amenities are not the greatest given the price you’re paying to stay (no bathroom fan, shower really struggled to be anything other than hot or ice cold water and nothing inbetween. No bathroom air freshener or hand soap left in bathroom. Zero space in bar fridge to put your own items etc. TV is tiny and not in the eye line of the bed or furniture (seems to be more decorative than functional). Seems to be very minimal in the rooms for a place that tries to keep guests on property for majority of their time, but could invest more into the guests rooms. In saying that, I believe the rooms were still satisfactory and didn’t take away from the experience at all.

Beautiful lodges and property is outstanding location for nature lovers amongst the trees and amazing beaches and views
