Prime Surfers Bungalow

Tout ! Richard était super sympa, parle vraiment bien anglais. Est de très bons conseils aussi et vraiment accommodant. Le bungalow est trop chouette, le patio extérieur grand et confortable, la douche est propre à la chambre mais est ouverte sur l’extérieur, super agréable. Et à proximité de la plage. On serait restées plus longtemps si on avait eu le temps.

Нам очень понравился сад, ощущение как будто ты живешь в настоящих джунглях. А также обслуживание выше всяких похвал. Каждое утро нам готовили вкусный завтра и еще Ричард делал безумно вкусный кофе, нигде в Аругам я вкуснее так и не попробовала. Видно, что люди горят своим делом. Что еще очень важно - это чистота. Не смотря на то, что мы были в тропической стране - насекомых почти не было, думаю большое значение в этом играет педантичность владельцев и персонала. Еще очень круто, что на улице есть специальное место, где можно полежать под вентилятором в тени деревьев, шикарно. Кроме этого нам дали массу рекомендаций куда сходить и где найти то, что нам нужно. Считаю это огромным плюсом.

Тут могу только несколько моментов учесть, поэтому и не смогла поставить 10. Очень мало света в комнате, потому что окна маленькие, а лампочек не хватает. С другой стороны это больше вопрос к моим ожиданиям, потому что формат бунгало не подразумевает много света. Мне бы хотелось быть немного ближе к океану, потому что до него по жаре все-таки приходится идти. В остальном все прекрасно.

Richard is amazing, really helpful organised us Tuk Tuk and Scooter rental for us. Breakfast was delicious each morning, option of local or western breakky. He made the stay for us! Always up for a chat and giving break recommendations for surf spots or for our next locations. Room was extremely clean and tidy. Location is perfect only a short walk to the whiskey point surf break. 100% would stay here if we come back to Sri Lanka! Thank you Richard!

Nothing it was perfect

I instantly felt at home here. Beautiful accommodation tucked away in nature. Very peaceful, clean, modern, and comfortable. Wi-Fi and AC work perfectly, breakfast is delicious, and the owner is super friendly and helpful. Also very close to a beach that’s not busy at all. You basically have the entire beach to yourself. Would definitely stay here again.

I can’t fault this place. Perhaps the only downside is that there aren’t too many restaurants nearby, but the owner makes it easy for you to rent a scooter or order a tuk tuk if you need it to visit the main town.

Eine unserer besten Unterkünfte nach 3 Wochen in Sri Lanka - naturnah, sauber und abseits der Touristenmassen, sodass man sich gut erholen kann. Gut gepflegter Garten und leckeres Frühstück. Die Gastgeber sind super nett, vor allem die Unterhaltungen mit Richard fanden wir echt klasse. Wir haben sehr viel von ihm über die Kultur und das Leben in Sri Lanka gelernt, er hat uns immer gute Tipps gegeben, was wir in der Umgebung angucken können. Die Ausstattung war auch super, mit einem neuen Kühlschrank und einer guten Klimaanlage. Das Bett ist auch sehr bequem und auf der gemütlichen Liegefläche vor dem Bungalow kann man den Abend ausklingen lassen. Der Strand ist in ca. 5 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir würden gerne jederzeit wiederkommen!

Alles war perfekt. Eine kleine Anmerkung: jedem, der hier bucht, sollte klar sein, dass die Unterkunft wirklich naturnah ist, wodurch diverse Tiere den Weg ins Bungalow/Bad finden können (z.B. Frösche, Spinnen, Gekkos usw.). Wir hatten keine Probleme damit und finden, dass es auch normal ist. Das ist wohl die Natur, die man nicht kontrollieren kann!

The bungalows were spacious and clean. Same goes for the bathroom, which is not fully open air, but also not a closed room. Richard, the host, was nice and did his best to satisfy the guests. AC in the room was solid and working properly. The yard was tidy and cleaned daily. Breakfast was freshly prepared and good!

This hotel is designed to bring people together and spend time together. If you don't want to or don't feel well (we had trouble with our stomachs since 3-4 days) it's hard to get privacy outside the bungalow. The design is like a type of surf camp, so if you don't want that, that's the wrong place for you. Just two small improvement ideas: the light in the room is too little for the room size, maybe get one more lamp for each bungalow? And our hammock needed a new fixing rope as you could not really hand loose and relax because you were afraid the loose knot might untangle.

超级棒的一家住宿，环境安静平和，也很干净。半露天的浴室很值得体验。整体与自然很和谐，超级舒服。老板是个很nice的人，很懂生活，是个会让人离开这里后想念的人。非常喜欢这里，如果有机会还会再来。

Great stay at Prime Surfers Bungalow. Nice relaxing garden in a great location not too far from Whiskey point and Pottuvil point. Richard was very friendly and always up for a chat. Air con worked a treat!

The staff is friendly and the environment is quiet. They accommodated my request to be closer to the WiFi router to be able to work and helped us book a scooter and indicated how to get to the next location via bus.

There aren't a lot of food options around so we had to go to the village itself for lunch and dinner
