Great stay and the room was good with a forest view. The food menu could be better, there are very limited options. Service was great. And we had a comfortable stay. Very warm and niche.

I visited the Willow Resort during 1st week of Oct 2024. The property is very very isolated and remotely located from the main road (Ambalavayal). If people like such thing then it can be a positive aspect. The rooms are properly planned and built as individual cottages of two rooms together. Nice coffee plantation is there all around the property. The complementary breakfast was good both the days of our stay. There is a small swimming pool which is another good thing at the Willow Resort.

The property is very very remote (from Ambalavayal) and reaching the resort in the late evening was nightmare. Approach roads are very narrow and only one car can pass. There are broken patches in between. If we get any other vehicle coming from the front side then its a hassle. Rooms / bathrooms were stinking when we entered. It clearly shows that people have not stayed before we going there. There was no electricity for 3 to 4 hours during my stay, so no hot water. There is no cable connection in that location so we can use local wifi, but it does not work most of the time. We used our personal hotspot. Room keys were not working properly. Fan speeds are stuck at one speed. AC remotes not working properly. Restaurant has limited menu and needs one hour to prepare any snacks in the evenings. All the facilities listed in Booking.com site are either not present at the property or not working. Dinner was kind of ok ok, as there was lot of non veg menu. But food is a problem in this resort as veg options are very less. While checking out I asked for discount on the tariff as there were so many inconveniences during our stay. But manager/staff were not ready and we had a big argument for an hour.
