Amahelia Luxury Resort & Restaurant - Gili Asahan

Amazing and very helpful staff. Bungalows and beach area cleaned every day. Delicious food. Very quiet and relaxing resort. If you would like to snorkel we recommend to book a snorkelling trip to Gili Gede, Gili Layar and Gili Rengit it’s absolutely worth it. Unfortunately in front of the Amahelia and neighbouring resorts the coral is really damaged.

We didn’t mind but non guests came, had a food, stayed at the pool and overtook lounges. Some of the bungalows were empty so it was ok but would suggest to owners to consider this during the peak season. The roosters from the village are very vocal and we were woken up every day after 4am. If you are light sleeper bring an ear plugs with you. Despite this we would stay again. Wi-fi available only in the restaurant/reception area. Upgraded to star-link but doesn’t work properly yet.

Amahelia is absolutely amazing! Everything was great but especially the staff and the food were the highlight of our stay. Very friendly and welcoming, and always on top of everything. We ate all our meals in the hotel restaurant, trying many different dishes and one was better after the other. It was the best food we had during our entire trip. The room was clean and the beautiful beach is right infront. Gili Asahan is very beautiful and peaceful. We would definitely come back to stay at the Amahelia!! Thank you so much.

The Javanese Nasi Bakar was amazing. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Beautiful environment with flowers everywhere.

Absolute bliss. Perfect stay. Very comfortable, wonderful staff and grounds. Excellent breakfast-try the mango chia seed pudding! Go on a snorkeling trip to the nearby islands, the coral reefs are incredible!

Thankyou for the receptionist, you are helpfull, but not with your manager The island is beautiful, but the hotel was average

The manager is very annoying, he always thingking how to extra charge their guest, he still want to charge our little child eventhough we had pay for extra bed The hotel was dark and lot of sand in the room floor , and lot of mosquito and insect, so prepare for this before you come, and there's no kettle
