Orn was super friendly, welcoming and helpful for all our travel needs! Location was right on the lake for easy access across the road to the morning boat trip.

The owner Orn is very very friendly. Contacted me via whatsapp before arrival. Very convenient way of communication. I'd recommend to new guests to write to her before arrival and tell her the time of your arrival as she had kids and have to plan everything like taking them from school. But even if you ariive when she's not there, the key is at the door and everything ready for you. The breakfast was nice. I booked a tour to buffalos for 550 baht and that was a good tour.

Orn is very responsive and helpful. Breakfast convenient. Orn had an old motorbike we could use for free, so we looked around and visited the Botanic Gardens. So generous. The internet is fine. I did a couple of video conferences and it worked (I had my phone data just in case). It’s not the best WFH situation, but is doable. Location is amazing. Not just because it’s near the wetlands (for the unmissable 5:30am 2.5hr 900 baht sunrise boat trip. Take binoculars!), as there are other hotels that are right on the water. But it’s great because it’s on the edge of the village on stilts. The village is such a privilege to experience. We saw a lot of weaving processes, fishing/drying, and a travelling traditional show- welcomed to join and eat with the locals. Lovely to see how people really live here. We stayed 7 nights, and although that was a bit long, it allowed us to get to know the village and experience nature more. Note the room isn’t cleaned in that time, though you could probably ask. Orn likes to make sure guests are happy. Cafe The Beat Baker (near the temple) has the best coffee and cakes, but next door Le Noi Berry cafe has a nice vibe. We really liked the food at a nearby restaurant but it isn’t on Google. It’s next to Koten coffee.

Unfortunately the bicycles were not working (one of the reasons we booked this place) so maybe check with Orn in advance if there’s something specific you want/need. Typical Thai style (understandable for a place that mostly caters to Thai tourists): bed and pillows were very hard and the wet room shower/toilet situation. The queen bed cover was only a single. Can be noisy if the outside is noisy. Our stay was longer than most, so although I would have liked a comfy chair and a fan to relax and read on the deck, I understand most guests wouldn’t use that. If you do want something, Orn can provide most things you need.

Very good hospitality from host. Just make your reservation and host will arrange suggest you the activities like boat trip.
