Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort

Extremely relaxing. Staff were so friendly and so helpful. Carried your cases everywhere for you. Food and drinks were all great. Staff always clean the beach and always have the place extremely clean. View is stunning and hotel offers kayaks, snorkelling equipment and tours directly from the hotel beach. The cocktails were excellent and I had such a relaxing time. The boat transfers are helpful too and they coordinate them with the ferries from the main port which is ideal. Snorkelling was also great and you could see lots of fish around. There is also a walking trail view point up the hill behind the hotel which is a 30 min walk uphill that looks out over phi phi. You can also walk back down to the main pier if you don't want to take a boat. Although it's advised not to walk when it's dark due to snakes. Prices are very reasonable for an excluded hotel as they could charge you whatever you wanted and you would be forced to pay... They also put everything on a large tab for your entire stay which you pay at the end. Extremely handy as you don't have to worry about taking out money/cards. This includes everything you use. Our tab had laundry, drinks, food, snorkelling equipment, room upgrade and massage. My girlfriend would highly recommend the massage - 1 hour massage for under £10

Although the location is beautiful, it is quite secluded. You need to get a boat to the main pier (ton sai). The hotel offer these but they only run at specific times. Last one going out is at 12:30pm and last one back from pier is 17:30. Therefore, if you want to see the lively part, you either need to come back to the hotel at 17:30pm, or a private boat which can cost up to 2000THB. This is a downside but it is helpful that the hotel offer a boat service for only 150THB per person. If you're looking for a holiday exploring then this isn't the place for you, this is great for a relaxed holiday where you are happy staying in the same area. I stayed for 3 days and wouldn't have wanted to stay much longer as there are limited things to do. Would not recommend for anyone who struggles to walk as the rooms are a walk up uneven steps. My room was up a steep hill, around 40 steps to our room, which was not stated when booking. You also have to get off a boat into the water and walk over the beach which some people may not enjoy. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, like laying on concrete. There was also intermittent power disruptions in my room, therefore during the night our air con would switch off. It's also unclear when booking that there is no air con. We booked a 'fan room' which is literally 2 fans and the cabin had a lot of holes. We upgraded for £35 for 3 nights to an Aircon room which was a lot more secure and had Aircon plus a fan. Also a lot of animals around that area so if you aren't an animal person, it's not for you. There were monkeys on the beach, lots of crabs on the beach, lizards/geckos as you walk up to your room, and one night we had a cat at our room door looking for food.

Sehr schöne Anlage, traumhafter Strand und kristallklares Wasser. Das Bungalow ist einfach aber ausreichend und hat ein bequemes Bett. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, vor allem Tran war sehr herzlich.

Keine Liegen am Strand, lediglich Stühle. Im Bungalow wird jedoch eine Strandmatte zur Verfügung gestellt. Teilweise sind die Bugalows mit steilem Aufstieg zu erreichen (dafür schöne Aussicht). Für uns kein Problem, wenn man aber eingeschränkt im Gehen ist, würde ich empfehlen vorgängig eine Anfrage für ein Bugalow beim Restaurant zu machen.

Das Hotel hat eine traumhafte Lage mit einem sehr schönen Strand, der definitiv das Highlight des Aufenthalts ist. Perfekt zum Entspannen und Geniessen.

Im Zimmer gibt es keinen Kühlschrank, was gerade bei warmem Wetter sehr unpraktisch ist. Zudem fehlt eine Klimaanlage stattdessen gibt es nur einen Ventilator, was den Aufenthalt bei Hitze weniger angenehm macht. Auch die Anbindung ist eingeschränkt, da es nur einen kostenpflichtigen Boots-Shuttle in die Stadt gibt.
