Akchanok Homestay - Nature Retreat

De omgeving is zeer mooi. Voelt als een huisje in een kleine jungle. De eigenaren waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Gezien het erg ver van het centrum ligt konden we geen Grap krijgen en heeft de eigenaar (tegen een zeer schappelijke vergoeding) ons gebracht naar het centrum. Heerlijk rustige omgeving. Badkamer en wc apart was ook erg fijn.

Er is weinig in de omgeving wat nadelig was qua boodschappen en eten. Een Grap is bijna niet te krijgen. Bed was (nog) harder dan de andere homestay's die we hebben gehad. Badkamer had schoner mogen zijn.

Very Natural and silent not too far out of the Site.

The Bungalow was nice and clean but VERY small.

The property was in a lovely setting and was quiet- just the peace we needed after being in the city. The owners were kind and caring and always offering to help us. Our children enjoyed the stay to with the wildlife, chickens and pool. The pool was lovely and clean too! Though bikes are available, we didn’t use them whilst there.

We had a few ants in the lodge which was less than desired. To note, there is a daily tannoy announcement at 6AM which is very loud and did wake us all up- so quite an early start each day. We didn’t feel comfortable heading out for walks as the dogs on the street were quite guarding when we tried to return one evening- 4 of them blocked the road and made it very nerve racking with the children and us.

Location out of city about 10 kilo but got taxi in to town 200 baht one way to the night market on a Saturday night

What a beautiful place to stay! Beautiful garden surroundings and lovely (small) swimming pool. The hostess is a wonderful and cheerful person, she made me feel very welcome. Her English is better than she thinks! The house has all the basic necessities and I appreciated the fridge and aircon. Khob khun ka for the lovely two nights, I hope to see you again!

Be sure to have your own transportation to explore the surrounding area and to visit phitsanulok center.
