Syamantac Villa

My booking id 4476220277. I was not given room and my money has been refunded by the hotel just a few hours before check in and without any notice saying that there is no room . conveyed thru a WhatsApp voice msg. Questioning if there is a hotel that exists in kodaikannal. very worst from stamantac villa people . Guests who ever choose this property pls beware that the same should not happen

The rooms are impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable stay, and the food is simply excellent.excellent communication from the host..it was a family stay...will come back again.

As soon as we stepped into the property Girija and her husband (the owners) welcomed us with an exceptionally tasty lemon tea. We quickly realised we made the right choice when we saw the jaw dropping view from the balcony. We didn't travel after checking in because we wanted to savour every moment here till checkout. We were lucky to have been hosted by Girija ma'am herself as she's a record holding chef and also because her hometown is elsewhere. We had chapattis and a veg curry for dinner. The next day we had idlis, dosas and a variety of chutneys for breakfast. We clicked pics and said our goodbyes to the lovely couple and their sweet pets before taking home some amazing memories. We'll be back soon!

Only and only positive about the property is the view you get from the lawn and the rooms with balcony.

A lot of many things. Let me list it down, - only two staff, one of them is also a chef. - No lunch facilities - Breakfast was served between 8:30-9:30 amwithout even asking what we will eat. - Kitchen closes at 9PM. Strictly. - entire property is dead ( no lights) 9PM. - No microwave oven to get your food reheated if at all you get late. - location is remote and roads are not well. - Double room is so so compact that it’s not even worth 1000 rupees, let alone 3600. Hospitality is suffering majorly. The two staff are really cordial though but too less to manage so many people.
