Awesome location, truly classic. Huge rooms, beautiful decor. Great homely food. Very courteous staff.

I loved everything about this place. Everyone around you attends with so much love and care. The food tasted like homemade food. The vibes around this place is very peaceful

The place oozes old world charm and is located amidst a beautiful tea plantation with endless views of rolling hills all around. The staff is very polite and super prompt throughout the day and night, as needed. Their managers are very friendly - Binoy is a very hands-on and professional manager and chats up with the guests during meal times and shares details abd history about the place. He takes guests for a visit to the 120-year old tea factory, the club house and the other bungalow (depending on which one you stay in). Food was excellent - homemade, fresh, and good tasting.

Tiny little things here and there in an otherwise amazing find: 1. The pricing is relatively steep so it would have been great to have a full board with such per night pricing - having to pay additionally for snacks and lunch etc feels unfair (ala carte food prices are a little steep too). 2. Amenities are a little wonky in places - the locks on doors for example. Or a bath tub that is super spacious but the geyser doesn't hold enough hot water for it to be filled up properly.
