Villa de Pico Highland Beach Resort

The hotel has the most amazing view from the pool and the restaurant. The personel is excellent and super friendly and inviting. I really enjoyed my stay here!

Very impressive property, great location and staff couldn’t do enough for you. There was a lot of stairs but staff carried luggage from and to entrance. Pool was lovely, sadly didn’t have the weather to enjoy it to its fullest.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like, as advertised.

Everything! From the first greeting to the 'Goodbye, see you next time!' The resort is clean, room was clean and presentable, staff always smiling, meals were fantastic...very hard to fault this resort. The staff know the way of the land, local people, were very helpful with organising a tour and super accommodating. This place is chill, fun and the staff were attentive to my needs.

That the beach access has lots of trash.. Breakfast has limited options, and no fruits included..

It was a very cordial and warm atmosphere on the part of the hosts. Very well structured and open. An open ear for questions at all times, and requests are tried to be fulfilled as far as possible.

There is some extension work going on, I had booked a standard room at the beginning, this is without air conditioning and really very basic. However, an upgrade was no problem for an extra charge.

I had high hopes because of the good reviews but unfortunately I got to experience some of the negative reviews about this place but here are the good ones.. The infinity pool is big and nice because it is perched on the hillside with a nice view of the beach and is breezy. The restaurant's ambiance and view is nice too.

We booked Suite w/ Seaview. The room we were served at was at the very corner 1 floor apart from the restaurant above, so there's 1 floor between our room and the resto, and the room right above us I believe is where the hotel staff or some relatives of the hotel owners live and you could hear their footsteps right above our ceiling made from wood so it's making a lot of noise and is disturbing what supposed to be a relaxing place to stay at. Plus the water heater in the bathroom does not stay heated so go figure.. Also the room is not the same as the picture we booked so make sure to demand from what's shown in the picture. Don't book with breakfast included. Bfast is not very satisfying.

My stay at this hotel was truly wonderful! The best part was definitely the amazing people working there — always smiling, incredibly kind, and ready to help with anything at any time of the day. The owners are lovely, and they create such a welcoming, positive atmosphere. I really enjoyed the chill and relaxing vibe. It was peaceful, with no loud noises during the day or night, and there was a great energy thanks to the nearby music, café, and restaurant that stay open all day long. The facilities are excellent: a big, super clean swimming pool, private beach access, a restaurant, and the option to rent scooters at a very good price. Everything was also very clean, and while the room was on the smaller side, it was cozy and nicely maintained. The location is elevated, giving you a beautiful view, and you're just about 10 minutes from supermarkets and everything the town offers.

If I had to mention any downside, it would be that the shower water wasn’t always very hot, and the breakfast could have had a bit more variety — but honestly, those are very minor things compared to everything else.
