Caravan Willerby Rio

Location was great, great for walks with my dogs and getting out and about.

The only thing was I found the pillows on the bed quite flat and uncomfortable

So clean and comfortable.

It could do with a hairdryer and a small iron , if possible. Otherwise it was perfect.

We liked Looe which was close to the site and the staff on site were lovely and friendly. Also liked the big field at the side to exercise the dog

The caravan was dated. Seating and rug needed cleaning. The kitchen tap was constantly dripping and you couldn't turn it off. The toilet seat was loose. The shower screen and plug hole were dirty and the shower temperature was hard to regulate, so you either got scalding or freezing water. The toaster didn't work and the PAT test was nearly 2 years out of date. Saw ants in the bedrooms and on the worktops. Also, 2 days after payment was made and I couldn't cancel the holiday, the owner informed me that I couldn't leave my dog in the caravan alone and even asked me for the breed. The caravan was advertised as dog friendly otherwise I wouldn't have booked it. My dog goes on every holiday with us and there's never been a problem with leaving him in any accommodation, but frankly after this owner messaged me and said that it was really upsetting. It was too hot to take my dog everywhere with us, so we ended up staying on site for 3 days just because of this 'rule' the owner sprang on us. My holiday, in effect, was not a holiday because we stayed inside playing Monopoly for the majority of the time we were there and even left one day early, on the Friday morning, because we'd had enough. I would never, ever, book this caravan again. I would suggest that the owner does not advertise this caravan as dog friendly in the future because they clearly don't want them in it and that repairs are carried out. To conclude, at the foot of the caravan steps there was some sort of separate wooden step covering something and it was unstable, making going in and out of the caravan tricky and frankly an accident waiting to happen for someone as I nearly fell myself

It was very clean and very homely

There was nothing we didn't like ....apart from the TV remote didn't always work

Clean comfortable. But dated could do with re upholstery and new rugs .but good value for money

Caravan was lovely in a nice quiet location, basically between looe and Polperro you could easily catch a bus to each harbour great.

Only one very some problem was The lack of wifi in the caravan but we could connect when close to the very close shop.

It was quite greasy there was a layer all over everything, utensils where awful most where falling apart spatula was all bubbled up and curled up , the toaster was unusable full of rust the microwave was full of splash marks the cutlery tray had all crumbs in it there where black hairs on the plates and we had to clean the cooker knobs as they where full of grease the kettle was grimy and the place mats where full of cuts not sure if this next comment is relevant? There was no pat testing stickers on any equipment and no gas cert near boiler and couldn’t read the instructions on the fire extinguisher

Lovely, clean caravan, with everything you need, bed was comfortable too. In a brilliant location literally 5mins from Looe and 5 mins from Polperro. Also a great location to go exploring we went to Looe, Polperro, Mevagissey and St Michael's Mount during our stay. Tony was a brilliant host too, we added an extra day on, excellent communication, briefly met him as we were leaving Lovely guy. We loved every minute thank you 😊.

I would firstly like to say we did enjoy our stay but we did have a few problems and we did leave a note regarding the below issues. The oven thermostat is not working and unfortunately incinerates everything. The light in the twin bedroom is not working. The table is very wobbly.
