Villa Almarik Resort

We liked every bit of it. It was our second stay. It’s a calmer place on the island, you could see turtles directly from the beach. Snorkeling is easy there and diving schools are very close by. We recommand trawangan dive. They have great service in the hotel and on the sunbeds. Everyone was really nice but we made friends with fajri, harji and wuahiudi and nanang. Best people in the hotel (I hope I spelled their names correctly) they even helped us to learn some indonesian. The staff really did their best to accomodate all of our wishes to the fullest and we enjoyed talking to them and learning about their culture. The food is perfection and the staff really was a pleasure to talk to and really helpful. These people are the reason why we definitely come back to this place. Everything is at a short walking distance to the port it‘s about 20min to walk. The rooms are spacious and offer everything you need.

The only thing bothering were the mosquitos, but this is probably not a hotel problem. Due to rainy season there were a lot of mosquitos so you could not really relax on the patio before dinner.

Absolutely nothing

Our stay was amazing! The villa was gorgeous with an outdoor bathroom that felt so luxurious. The staff were friendly and attentive and our room was thoroughly cleaned each day. The location was central to everything, while being away from any noise. The beach was also right across the road, and guests had use of the beach loungers.

The only thing that could be improved was the breakfast, it was a bit average compared to other restaurants on the island. If this could be improved it’d be a 10/10

Wir hatten für insgesamt sechs Nächte ein Deluxe-Bungalow. Die Bungalows sind sehr groß und geräumig, mit viel Platz für Rucksack oder Koffer, die man auch erhöht abstellen kann. Die Betten waren total bequem, alles super sauber, und das Außenbad ist wunderschön (wenn man Außenbäder mag). Es gab täglich frische Handtücher und auf Wunsch sogar frisch bezogene Betten. Der Zimmerservice kam jeden Tag. Sehr angenehm war auch die kleine Terrasse und die kostenfreie Wasserstation, die jederzeit verfügbar war. Die Lage ist top: In etwa zehn Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Hafen, hat zahlreiche Restaurants in der Nähe, ist aber nicht mitten im Trubel – dadurch schön ruhig. Direkt gegenüber gibt es einen privaten Strandabschnitt mit kostenlosen Liegen. Auch das Frühstück war hervorragend: eine Kombination aus Buffet und À-la-carte-Auswahl, sodass wirklich jeder Wunsch erfüllt wurde. Dazu kam das extrem freundliche Personal – wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Eigentlich hatten wir nur fünf Nächte gebucht, haben dann aber spontan auf sechs Nächte verlängert, weil es uns so gut gefallen hat. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Das Einzige, was man erwähnen könnte, ist, dass die Unterkunft für Bali nicht zu den günstigsten gehört. Aber abgesehen davon war wirklich alles perfekt.
