Khanom Hill Resort

Perfect!! This was the best stay out of our 6 weeks in Thailand. We even extended our initial stay of 6 nights to 12! The resort is on a beautiful long, white, very quiet beach. Nice loungers with plenty of shade provided by the trees. Also had 2 smaller, beautiful swimming pools and a sauna. The villa we stayed is was very big, clean and well equipped. King bed. Cold AC. Plenty of hot water. Cleaned daily. Breakfast is fabulous and included. Restaurant serves delicious meals on beautiful layered decks facing the beach. Owners could not have been friendlier or more helpful in all ways!

The property is on the beach & some bungalows are just across the street from the main building. We stayed just up from the beach & it was nice & secluded with the pool just a few steps away !!

This hotel is exceptional and was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our recent 3 month tour of Thailand. The bungalow was lovely, super comfortable bed with nice linens and a spacious, well equipped bathroom. We were right by the pool, which was super clean and lovely to cool down in if you didn't want to go down to the beach. Our bungalow was the other side of the road to the restaurant and beach, that was no issue for us and we used both every day. What really sets this hotel and the restaurant apart is the little things, small touches like servicing the room unobtrusively whilst we were at breakfast each morning, offering to adjust the menu for us as vegetarians and helping us with a car problem, sweeping the beach etc. The staff would just be there when you needed them without you even asking or realising... 5 star service. We loved the location, the restaurant overlooking the beach, the breakfasts are phenomenal 👌, pancakes to die for. Just great 👏👏🙏

Nothing. Possible addition could be mosquito repellant in the room or a mosquito coil for when sitting on your terrace in the evening?

First of all, the resort is in very nice and quiet area but you still have few options for dining and so on. Part of the resort is also a restaurant, beach. They offer bike rentals, tours, massages and also transfers (we used it from airport and later to pier). Sfaff: everyone is super nice, they do their best to maintain everything. Rooms are always clean, you get a great service at their restaurant, they even took my luggage to the room. 5/5 Rooms: it is true, that rooms are a little bit outdated but are still offering everything you may need, are spacious and cosy. Bed was a little shaky and ac a little loud but we slept well anyway. It is in nature, hills especially so yes, there will be mosquitoes and ants. Surroundings: the road between beach and our accommodation is not busy at all, you can cross safely. Can be loud at night but it did not bother us. There is a nice pool with clean and warm water. I loved this part a lot. Breakfast: nice selection. I admire that you choose from menu and can eat some more if you are still hungry but no buffet- no waste!

The villas are gorgeous and spacious, and the staff are incredibly attentive and helpful, and can help with booking masaages, scooters, taxis etc.

The resort is located on two sides of a fairly busy road, but it wasn't a huge issue, even with a toddler.

Staff at breakfast service and check out was excellent, kind and lovely. Very very sweet lady (I think “Ta”) took care of my friend and I and was patient when I practised my Thai language, and offered great advice for onward driving/travel plans. Very good breakfast with lots of options and lovely view. Room had good kitchen area with coffee supplies, decent hot water and provided towels for both room and beach. Clean.

Greeting upon arrival was not very friendly and room was not ready upon arrival (check in @ 2 and arrived approx 3 pm). Room noted garden view but view is of busy highway and construction zone. On site restaurant closed from 3-6 pm - not helpful as normally people will be travelling pre arrival, and then no option to eat when they arrive. Compared to other Thai accommodations, I consider to be very overpriced. Ok for my visit, but many stairs/poor accessibility and some folks may struggle. Excessive curtains and window in kitchen was open upon arrival allowing many mosquitos into room.

Fabulous location with direct beach access. Wonderful staff and nice bungalows which were very clean. Short drive to bars and restaurants. Small safe pool.

There weren't any dislikes, one small point might be that the resort is split across 2 sides of the road, which you might need to cross to access the beach and the restaurant depending we're your bungalow is.
