The Zzzz Moose Camping Cabins

Delightful, tidy, clean, comfortable all wood tent cabin. The loft space is cute and cozy. Attentive and accommodating host who makes an excellent breakfast. Many touches, details for comfort and convenience - small bbq, fire pit, Adirondack chairs, broom, extension cord, cards, bug repellent, etc. Dedicated washroom and fridge and utility kitchen very much appreciated. beach is a large stone beach, not for lying down, but Vast Water view and rural setting perfect for detachment.

A lovely stay in a wooden cabin tucked into the forest. Cosy but comfortable with a communal kitchen that we really appreciated to save costs on meals in restaurants. A lovely walk to the beach and the most amazing pannekoek for breakfast and some of the best coffee on the island! Don't miss the breakfast in the Cafe!

A short walk to the ocean. The private showers were hot. Their community kitchen set up was well thought out.

The only minor concern was a need for a few more chairs at the ocean perch.

Ton was incredibly kind and welcoming. I had a few extra requests, and he went out of his way to help with everything. The private beach access is a fantastic perk just steps away and so peaceful. And the breakfast was freshly made and absolutely delicious.

The rooms were very clean, comfortable and super warm , we had to lower the heat. The person in-charge was super helpful. We were hungry and all the restaurants closed around 7.30 . He went out of the way to make sandwiches for us even when the Moose cafe (on property)was close. Merci beaucoup !!

Amazing stay here! Ton went above and beyond to support our group. We travelled with friends from abroad, and they had an amazing experience. Having a fire next to the beach at night as you could hear the waves crashing was a highlight of the trip. As a Nova Scotian, I will definitely be coming back again, and recommending this place to friends. I have backpacked around the world, and I especially loved how they have their communal kitchen and bathroom set up with each cabin having their own bathroom and shower, and mini fridge. The cabins are gorgeous, and I had a delicious chilli from the cafe on site. Beautiful path to the beach, and if you wake up early, you can even catch the sun rise. Ton is also very knowledgeable about the area, and as a group who was going with the flow, he made some great recommendations for our travels. Thank you so much, ZzzzMoose!
