Kimara Tayrona Hostel

The owners are lovely family, really friendly. Really close to the entrance of the park and a few minutes by bus off the beach.

The showers don't have much pressure.

Good location, good WiFi, air con, good TV, friendly staff, beds comfortable, clean sheets. Good view.

No reception bell, no phone number to call, water pressure minimal, pool dirty, kitchen area sign says staff only, didn't have drinks for sale advertised. Place seems a bit run downa nd in need of some maintenance and modernisation.

Great place to stay if your heading into Tayrona National Park, 2 min walk from entrance, friendly staff

Really lovely couple who owned the place, very friendly indeed. The pool isn't as nice as the photos but it is good to have especially after sleeping in a tent in the national park. We were able to leave our bags at the accommodation the night before our stay for only S/5 per bag rather than S/60 that they charge by the entrance. The place is located less than 5 minute walk from the park entrance and there is a good restaurant on the main road where you can pay by card as long as there isn't a power cut (seems to happen everywhere when there is bad weather).

The booking said that we had breakfast included which was not the case, pretty annoying!

The location was good - very close to the entrance to Tayrona NP.
