On our way back to San Jose, we found the lodge. The slight detour was well worth it. We had a wonderful time in the garden, surrounded by nature, and a restful night in the tastefully decorated lodge. We lacked nothing, as the hosts were very friendly. The pancakes with homemade yogurt and freshly ground coffee were fantastic. We really had everything we needed. We would have loved to stay longer and would recommend it to anyone. Stunning, traditional hut combined with five star amenities, in the middle of quiet nature. A very welcoming family and wonderful breakfast. Absolutely recommend!

"Beautiful wayside cabin beside the river"

We loved the original design of the cabin using local materials; everything was clean and beautiful. Our hosts went beyond expectations to make the experience special, including lighting a fire for us. The bed was comfortable and the cabin full of details prepared with care. We enjoyed a swim in the nearby river as well. Breakfast was also delicious. In all, a lovely and refreshing stop-off on our journey between the coast and San Jose, thank you!

Nothing - it was really nicely done and we are very grateful to our hosts for their attention to detail. Our only suggestions for the future as the other cabins come into use is to put out a kettle and maybe a toaster or microwave in the guest area to allow simple food preparation. A gas cooker would be a bonus!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Jorge. Lodge ressourçant au milieu de la nature. Le petit déjeuner fait maison est tout simplement délicieux.

La cabaña era preciosa, en una localización de ensueño y la atención de Jorge no puede ser mejor. El desayuno es increíble y las vistas maravillosas

Nada, la localización está un poco retirada pero merece 100% la pena llegar!
