Wir waren nur für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise - fühlten uns dennoch sehr willkommen, was an dem netten Menschen lag, der uns empfing, aber auch an so schönen Details wie die french press inkl. Kaffee für den Morgen. Gerne kommen wir für länger wieder!

Schlechte Beleuchtung im Duschbereich.

We stayed in the barrels. It was different and fun :)

The Sleeping-'vat' was really comfortable and I appreciated the heating when it got chilly in the early morning hours. I was greeted warmly, got a delicious drink and rented a kayak for a couple of hours. The river was utter bliss. I should have booked for longer!

The restaurant next door closed the kitchen at 17:30 and the doors at 18:00, not reopening before lunch the next day. It wasn't a problem, but a disappointment.

Very basic. You can put up your tent that is pretty much it. However, given the price one pay it is very fair and reasonable. It was pretty much completely self-serve, so do no expect anything, but again the price was very reasonable. The surroundings are beautiful. There is a small bathroom with basic, but clean shower facilities

Car parking could be better.

Beautiful location and great glamping accommodation in a barrel hut. Glass of wine on arrival so much appreciated. The bed was comfortable and we had such a good nights sleep because it was so quiet overnight. Opportunity to canoeing not taken up though we did walk part way around the lake. Really convenient if coming off the ferry in Travemunde. Parking available close to accommodation.

Nothing not to like.

Simple, camp-like facility, beautifully located near the start of the Wakenitz River and only 200 yards from Lake Ratzeburg. No permanent "campers", only tents and two barrel-shaped sleeping accommodations. The place caters mostly to kayakers and canoeists.

Don't change anything!

Comfortable bed. There were also plates, cups, coffee, sugar, etc. in the bungalow. Clean toilets and showers, no unpleasant smell.

In the morning there was no electricity in the bungalow. Also, the problem is that the parking lot is 10 meters from the bungalow, so other people disturbed our sleep when they left.
