Lala Land Camp

Relaxing, isolated - almost everything I was hoping for. Excellent beach, with row boats and Schnorkerling - right next to a coral reef where you can dive and see beautiful fish and corals and animals. Staff was attentive, nice, friendly! Mentos the manager was really great, friendly, empathic and someone you can always talk to and have meaningful deep conversations with. She was great when I asked to arrange a ride and a guide to Wadi Wishwesh You can also always find other visitors there to connect with - if you like. Great atmosphere - not too crowded, not too empty - in the middle (I was told high season is a bit more crowded - but that's true for every place!( Food is rich, tasty - very well. There are different levels of sleeping facilities for everyone, from "simple" huts with large comfortable beds to hotel rooms air conditioned with private bathroom. So - everyone can find something suitable to their needs and price range. All prices are very reasonable. There is a working Wi-Fi to get updated on stuff from time to time - I used it mainly to be connected to my google drive, as I was working on continuing writing my book...

I wish there was a little more variety in food and drinks - more types of different shakes to order from. Maybe more types for meals. Also, could be nice if all the hiking and trails attractions available in the area will be visibly published so visitors will know they also have these options - (I discovered by asking) I think a cooler for cold drinking water to fill your water bottles = would be nice (large percentage of my expense there was for new mineral water bottles) A Jetski for hire would be amazing Not all drivers know the place - so sometimes they get confused to find the path best thing is that you use Google Maps to help them navigate. If the driver has a smartphone (they usually do) - ask them to open their hotspot - or ask them to use their Google Maps.

This place is magnificent. At days, we enjoyed the view of the sea and mountains, besides swimming in the clear water where we could see colorful coral reefs not far away from the beach. At nights, we enjoyed the quietness, and Looking at the clear sky (the sky and the stars there look different from anywhere I visited before). The owner and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. The food was super delicious and it was served to us directly on the beach. Value for money is superb. Can not be more satisfied.

My room did not have an air conditioner. This was not a problem for me and will not affect my rating. I even think that the lack of air conditioners helps the Philosophy of the place which promotes the appreciation of the beauty of (raw) nature (The energy source there is solar cells). I just wrote this comment because I know that this might be a problem for some people specially in hot summers.

I really like the people there! The huts were lovely, and so was the food!! Will be back :)

It was quite hot in July! But that’s it, everything else I loved.
