CAExcellent location on Ao Jark Beach. Rim Lay was the only hotel that had actual beachfront rooms, 3 or 4 I think (we did not have one). All the other hotels on Ao Jark that offer "garden view" or "sea view" means bungalows further back, with restaurants and massage spots right on the beach so all can enjoy. Shout out to Dion, the hostess with the mostest at Rim Lay, who was always a smiling face. Rim Lay had tons of beach toys for free use. The place is perfect for kids, the beach is stunning and water perfect temperature. Very clear and sandy bottom. Can freely visit and use facilities at all of the hotels on Ao Jark when we were there.
It's not really a "don't like", more of a description of where the room was. Our bungalow, R-11, was at the back, with a spacious "front yard" and then the driveway was between us and the rest of the bungalows. (Google earth it) It is attached to another room, like a duplex (walls kinda thin the few times there were guests in our attached bungalow). It's still very nice and quiet, though. I think Rim Lay offers other "garden view" bungalows that are not attached and on the beach side of the driveway, so you might be able to see a sliver of water from your hammock. We plan on going back next year, and might try one of those instead. Overall, though, we loved our room. This trip was months long with about 15 different hotel bookings, so some of the room situation is surely on me not knowing what exactly to check for.

DEDie Lage am Strand war wunderbar, die Menschen dort super nett und alles total entspannt. Wir haben lecker dort gegessen und getrunken. Die Unterkunft ist schöner als auf den Fotos und man kann sich direkt Vorort ein Motorrad ausleihen.

Bungalows in dritter Reihe nicht so schön gelegen. Räume extrem einfach, Liegen am Strand ohne Polster. Wir sind tagsuber auf die Nachbaranlage gegangen.
