Coniston View 7

The lakeside view was really nice. Ideal for bird watching.

First and foremost the directions to the property were not accurate. There is nowhere on the boards written Coniston View except on the property. Even with a torch light it was really hard to locate the property. On the outside of the property especially the hot tub area, was full of leaves. I would expect that coming in the place would be spotless. Inside everything was well organised but the dirty floor mats made one wonder if all was clean. The dishwasher is old and dirty but functional. Going into the bedrooms, the carpet had stains and the shower glass was dirty on the bottom edge. It looked as if there was no professional cleaning. The en-suite shower drain collected water and standing in was gross given how dirty it was. In the end you make something out of what you have in the moment. It would have been a good experience if it wasn’t for the lack of cleanliness.

Lovely clean lodge with everything we needed. Peaceful and quiet location

The lodge itself was perfect. However, if you are thinking of eating at the on-site restaurant, book in advance. It gets booked up even towards the end of season.

We had an amazing couple of days here, such a lovely lodge. The decor was just our taste and the lodge had everything we needed. The hot tube was also great.

Nothing, we plan to return at se point 😊

Home away from home. Instant feeling of luxury and comfort. Everything I thought I would have needed to use the lodge I didn't need at all. Kitchen utensils, crockery, glassware bountiful. Toiletries, and cleaning products on hand and provided. Attention to detail was fantastic. Super spacious. The view from the hot tub was truly lovely. The perfect base for exploring this area.
