Sahara Peace camp

Mooie rustige gezellige locatie, mooi uitzicht, goede douche en bed en heel vriendelijk personeel.

Het was te heet en niet uit te houden om te slapen in het huisje. Op het domein is er geen enkel verkoelend plekje te vinden bij temperaturen tussen 35-40 graden. Daardoor zijn we een nacht vroeger vertrokken dan we gereserveerd hadden. Het is aan te raden om deze bivak van oktober tot maart te doen en dan zal dit super zijn.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Had the whole camp for myself. Brahim was very nice and organized me a quad tour. So thankful for this beautiful time. Had the best couscous and Tagine here in whole Morocco. Loved the animals as well. I will come again one day.

Booking gebruikt de foto's van de oude situatie van 2023. De situatie is nu totaal anders. Er zijn nieuwe foto's in en van het kamp. Na een enorme (regen)storm 2 jaar geleden zijn alle tenten weggewaaid l. Er staan nu 6 vaste huisjes.

Excellent moment de repos au Bivouac Sahara Peace durant notre road trip au Maroc. Nous sommes arrivées en voiture, faites confiance à votre GPS, 20min de piste tout à fait praticable sans 4x4 (nous avions une dacia logan=) ) mais à rouler en douceur pour éviter les cailloux. Nous n'avions rien prévu à l'avance et Moubarak et Ibrahim nous ont organisé, le soir même pour le lendemain, une sortie aux dunes de Erg Chegaga et balade en dromadaires, départ en 4x4 depuis le bivouac =) Ils sont très arrangeant, à l'écoute et serviable, merci à eux pour ce magnifique séjour =) Excellent rapport qualite/prix, le bivouac comprends des sanitaires communs pour les camper et les chambres sont spacieuses, sanitaires impeccable et nous avons très bien mangé. Malgré notre arrivée tardive le 1er soir nous avons pu déguster une tajine. Chouette espace commun, qui reste frais, une vraie fenêtre sur les portes du désert. Merci! Je recommande à 100%

El personal fue encantador, amable y atento. La cena estaba muy buena y con mucha cantidad. El mejor tajin que hemos probado hasta ahora durante el viaje. El campamento está en pleno desierto a 5km aproximadamente de la carretera pero puedes venir con tu vehículo si está preparado para el desierto (4x4, moto trail, etc). El campamento y las habitaciones están muy bien. Las camas son cómodas y hay agua caliente si lo pides.

I had a wonderful experience in the desert. I stayed in a bivouac room, which was beautiful and comfortable in the middle of nature. Everything was clean, well organized, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Mr. Mubarak and his team were amazing—very kind, welcoming, and hospitable. They really made sure we had a great stay.

Nothing to complain about, everything was perfect 👍

everything was excellent. the location. the staff. the food. the rooms. everything was top notch. prepare for no wifi hot water flushing toilets etc but you're in the middle of the western sahara so set your expectations accordingly. bring cash for dinners (120 Durham). had one of the best tagines I've ever had in all of Morocco here. stargazing was off the charts. sunsets and sunrises were sublime. just overall an incredible experience and I can't complain about a thing.

Simply fantastic! What a place! If you want peace and quiet with real sahara charm, wonderful food, very cute friendly animals and amazing staff, this is the place for you. There are too many good things to say for this little review. Just one thing to mention, though: we woke up this morning to see a flock/herd(?) of wild ostriches passing the camp!

We loved every minute but some people may not be prepared for desert life. The wind does get quite strong sometimes and sand can get in lots of places it shouldn't but, well, it IS the sahara you know!
