Nora's Place

The team at Nora’s Place are phenomenal. We got ourselves into some trouble with a scooter whilst we were in Panglao and Anne and Chris went above and beyond to help us, we cannot thank them enough. We felt really supported and there’s a great family feel at the property. We had pizza and breakfast from the resturant and both were very good, and it was so nice to have our own little balcony 2 steps away from the pool.

The place is a little out of town, but as long as you’re happy to walk 10-15 mins it’s fine, or of course you can get a super cheap tricycle ride. The outside kitchen was a little tired so we didn’t end up cooking on it, but the food from the resturant was great so all in all not a problem.

The staff was nothing short of great. All equally friendly and Jack the owner was very helpful as he gave us some great tips on what to do around Panglao. Our room was very spatious and we had a nice and relaxing stay. Also the pool is great.

The bed in our room was ready for replacement. We slept well and the mattress was good but the frame came loose.

We can bring our food and also the kitchen utensils that we can use and the free gallon of water.The bathroom is nice ,the pillows and bed are comfortable.

The beds were comfortable. The place is quiet and peaceful. We felt safe and secure. The owners were so friendly and helpful, ordering us tuk tuks and giving advice/booking tourist trips.

The location meant it was quite far away from restaurants but it was easy to get transport there.

We liked how it was a walking distance away from Alona beach, kinda near stores and fast food chains. The indoor pool can be enjoyed by both kids and adults and it's a great place to relax from the busy alona beach. The facility offers toothbrush, shampoo, lotions and Off lotions for a price much more affordable than that convenience store in Alona beach. I would like to say to future customers of this place, read the note on the fridge before you start buying things outside.

There were a lot of mosquitoes, I know it's not the facilities fault but I hope they could do something about it. Sometimes the washroom by the pool could get smelly but I'm certain that if you bring that issue to the staff, they'll clean it up right away.

It’s very cozy and family friendly. We had a home like feeling during the late evening conversations with Chris and Nora (owners).

Unfortunately I only got to stay two nights there but, it was amazing. The room was beautiful, the bathroom spotless clean, the bed super comfortable. Pool was great and we spend one afternoon at Alona Beach.

We met Nora when we checked in. What a pleasure, and all staff were very helpful. Short trip to the beach. Very comfortable room. We loved the restaurant and the pool. We'll be back.
