Warren Retreat

Location is great for exploring the coastline. Very quiet site, nothing at all on there but we liked that. Some nice views from the site. Felt safe & nice outdoor space. Big enough for 2 adults & 2 kids. Good shower. Owners responded to queries and provided clear info. Best place to eat nearby was The Anchor Inn in Cockwood - a must.

There was a pretty strong (not nice) smell in the main living area which we have fed back. It didn’t ruin our stay but it didn’t make it pleasant. Not the owners fault but we’ve come back with a tonne of washing due to damp clothes etc - there was lots of rain so expected to an extent. It’s an older home which is absolutely fine for us, but it did feel worn and a learn for us personally, maybe just our preference.

Great communication from the owners from the beginning. Always happy to answer questions, and very quick replies. I stayed here with my partner and two kids. Was an absolutely splendid stay. Nice and quiet( even though I have kids, I tend to venture away from the family based stays, prefer calm!) The site is off the main road, fantastic views, but so so quiet! Was also able to park car outside the home. Easy to visit locally ie - Teignmouth, Paignton etc, buses and train Within walking distance. The home had everything we needed! Those extras you always seem to forget. Was nice and spacious, the beds were comfy. Coulnt have asked for a better stay, and what great value for money! Thank you to Warren retreat for making our family holiday so special.

Lovely Caravan and Perfect location.

No Staff available when I arrived to welcome us or show us where to find the key. No Reception on site. Tried to ring the number of the site when I arrived for help to find the key and nobody answered. So had to knock on a neighbours Caravan to find out where the key was as it wasn't at the main entrance and no Reception. Then tried again to ring the Blue water Holiday Park number when I was about to leave; and still no reply. I left a voicemail message to say where the key was (where The neighbouring Caravan said to put it) but the Caravan owner never replied. We never saw any Staff on site throughout our entire stay and as the owners wouldn't answer the phone; it made them seem antisocial and unwelcoming as there was nobody to ask for help but other folks in neighbouring Caravans. No Reception and No Shop on site made it seem a bit abandoned. It was a shame as the Caravan was lovely and in an ideal location. But having no Staff around on site was a little odd.
