the glamping tent didn’t have heating and it was freezing cold at night.

nothing we left and refused to stay

there is no heating as pictured In the glamping tent. it was minus 8 overnight and the lady behind the desk was pretty rude when questioned. there was no way we were staying there we would’ve frozen. also there were a pair of dirty socks in the “glamping” tent, which effectively is a tent with a fantastic furniture bed In it, hardly glam. and certainly not good value for the price. the lady at the desk claimed she’d informed us the tent wasn’t heated (untrue) and also that it’s in the booking confirmation (I checked ; it’s not)

At a temperature of 3 degrees, when we returned to our accommodation, we found that there were no heating facilities provided. We had to put on all our warm clothes to keep ourselves warm, but even so, my partner and I still caught colds after returning from the trip. We booked a Glamping experience, not camping, and there is a difference between the two.

Great accommodation, no breakfast provided but facilities were clean - the bathrooms were cleaned regularly and the interior of the glamping tent was great and lots of blankets provided for warmth. Bring a USB cord and you can charge your phone in the battery of the solar light where the lamp plugs in.

The lighting around the park meant that the inside of the glamping tent was very bright. Especially the sensor light on the transformer room next to the tent was very sensitive and stayed on for a long time.

Small park with beautiful landscape. The glamping tent was super comfortable, clean and spacious. perfect for our little get away. a great location close to the local pub, coffees and bakery! Great walking track around the lake too.
