Suurkivi Nature Escape

Het leuke blokhutje waarin we verbleven had echt iets gezelligs.

Erg veel muggen en spinnen, maar op zich waren daar wel maatregelen tegen genomen; het hoort bij verblijven in de natuur.

Tom was stellar host and I appreciated the tour upon arrival. Nicely equipped communal open air kitchen. Beautiful "beach" on lagoon, though be prepared for bit of a walk. Cabin was comfortable and charming.

Mosquitos were aggressive. Luckily I had spray and later saw there was some provided in the room too. Mosquito net kept falling off when I open/closed door but fixed each time (though some got inside). Sink in the toilet room too small for facewashing so best to use shower sink (didn't realized this until Day 2).

Very calm and relaxing athmosphere. There are a lot of birds and other animals to watch. 5-10 min with the SUP is a small but beautiful sandy beach. :)

The owner was great and easy to talk to. The campsite was easy to get to, right near the centre of Häädemeeste. It seems to be a popular choice among dog owners. We were pretty pleased with that. There's a pretty big shared kitchen and showers/bathrooms where you can cook your own food and get a warm shower. The atmosphere was calm and casual. The cabins were pretty good for a short stay. Car could be parked next to cabins.

The site and its facilities are a bit run down. And, as you'd expect, there were loads of mosquitos because the place is located right by the trails to the beach.

Perfect location in quiet place next to path to the sea. Clean and simple cabins. Excellent place for people who appreciate simple living and nature.

Just some minor aspects (flooded sea path, some electricity blackout for few hours) but all due to weather not the place itself. Probably because of that there were no electricity in cabin at night (electrical outlets were not working) as well.

Just a peaceful place to have a rest. I became sick while bikepacking and had to find a place other than tent to sleep in. Decided to come here, and it was pretty much perfect for relaxing and getting better. Really comfortable for the price as well
