Glamping Tomaselli

El lugar tiene mucho potencial, pero es una pena que no lo estén aprovechando al máximo. Las instalaciones no están mal y se nota que podrían ofrecer una experiencia mucho mejor con algunos ajustes y mayor atención a los detalles. La chica que nos atendió fue muy amable.

Desde nuestra llegada, justo detrás de la recepción había un hombre con la música muy alta, bebiendo cerveza y cantando. Aunque estábamos en la zona más alta, el ruido se escuchaba claramente. Después de varias horas, alrededor de las 9 de la noche, le pedimos amablemente que bajara el volumen, pero nos respondió que el horario de ruido era hasta las 10 y que “bienvenidos”. Para nuestra sorpresa, esta persona era un trabajador o incluso el gerente del glamping, lo cual nos pareció poco profesional y afectó negativamente a nuestra experiencia. Además, no genera ninguna sensación de seguridad estar a miles de kilómetros de casa y tener a un gerente en estas condiciones y con ese tipo de respuestas. Teníamos 3 noches reservadas y finalmente solo nos quedamos 1; decidimos irnos a otro lugar.

Tuvimos que tocar un timbre y esperar 15 minutos a que saliera alguien a ayudarnos con el check in, y cuando finalmente salió la chica salió en pijamas a las 4pm de la tarde y sin ningún protocolo de servicio al cliente, También podrían mejorar su comunicación por WhatsApp ya que no contestan

This place is very conveniently located near Manuel Antonio National Park and Quepos. You are about 15 minutes from the amazing beaches of Costa Rica. Our dome was big enough to house a family of 3. Even though the bed is small and there isn't much room, it's very comfortable. There is AC, TV with Netflix, a fridge, and a coffee maker in the dome. The bathroom had hot water. We were surrounded by nature. We could hear howler monkeys, birds, and insects. We saw poison dart frogs, leaf frogs, a bunch of insects, and lizards around our place. The host and the staff were the best. They were always on site and available. They made the whole experience better!

The drive can be a little challenging as there is a windy, single-lane road that usually had people walking, construction material, and cars parked on the sides. We got used to it after the first day though. We didn't have power 2 of the days in the early morning for a few hours. Luckily, it was restored before it started getting too hot inside. There was construction happening right across our dome and sometimes it was too noisy but not an issue at night. The only major issue we had was we were in the lower dome and there is a glass ceiling. People from the domes above could see us from their balconies and we didn't have any way to block it.

Very cool glamping pod, quirky hotel, great outdoor covered shower. Very easy to just hang out in the pod, on the private sundeck, or by the outdoor kitchen.

Shower has multiple taps but only cold water (mostly fine during hot weather), pool cannot really be used by adults, and there was a tip envelope left for cleaning staff but no cleaning took place during the 3 nights we stayed!
