Pipowagen Het Kasteel

Lovely people, who welcome you. Very beautiful wagon. Fully equipped.

From the pictures it looks like a private place, there are not 2 wagons but 4. There was also a bus and a caravan, so no privacy really. On the back of the wagon are horse fields, with Norse shit therefore.. flies I am happy I took my own van because it was cooking hot inside

Amazing people and location.

Only that the public transport connection to get there is slightly less frequent in off peak hours. But on the other end, the perks are that the location is very relaxed from the busy life of city.

Simple, in the middle of the nature, next to a beautiful little village by foot, clean and comfortable. You appreciate the little things, it’s camping with comfort.

Nothing. You have to walk a bit to go to the toilet & bathroom, but it’s clean and fine.

Beautiful location, the horses at the back of the "pipowagen" were a bonus! A lovely experience, the beds are good and comfortable to sleep in. Clean facilities, it smelled and looked nice and clean. Interior looked very cozy and relaxed.

The grass(path) to the facilities was too high....the grass was so wet that my shoes were soaked ...I didn't have another pair and walked in wet shoes for most of the day. Cutting a footpath through the grass as a footpath from and to the caravans and the facilties would have pretended that

It was a really nice stay in the middle of the field with horses just right beside you. If you are someone who enjoy nature this is definitely a getaway place right for you! But I would recommend this stay during dry season. I stayed here in the beginning of november, it was wet season and it gets dark after 445PM. I knew the toilet was outside while booking, but it was actually quite a distance to walk (especially because it was raining all the day) i went to the toilet with car. And the hot water for shower is not very ideal as you need to press the button for hot water every....10mins maybe? And it was quite an open area so the when the wind blows, and hot water got turned off you have to walk a bit to hit the button again (the button is not right beside the shower) it was quite a problem. Water flow is not very strong as well. Owners are friendly and helpful enough to help us with early check in around 10AM, drinking water is not inside the room, it's also beside the house which youll need to get out from the house to fill. Will definitely recommend this stay for dry season only!

The experience, the outside of the Pipowagen looks like it's from a western movie... especially with the beautiful horses nearby. Furthermore a nice wooden interior, a very comfortable bed, a complete kitchen with almost silent fridge! Shower and toilet in the main building are good. Friendly people and wonderful surroundings, woods and fairytale like village. Love to come again!
