NAIt was a last minute booking and what a great chance we took. Right on edge of water, fantastic Galmping tents with fan, fridge & kettle with coffee etc The Hosts are super welcoming and accommodating.
That Herman the Hippo did not make an appearance!!!

ESBeautifully quiet and peaceful—you truly wake up to the sounds of nature and birds chirping. The property sits right on the border of Namibia and Angola; watching the sunset over the river from the restaurant was a highlight. We heard a hippo occasionally visits, though sadly we didn't spot it this time. The tents are clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with power and even a fridge. Each tent also has its own bench, perfect for enjoying a picnic. Shared bathroom is also clean with hot water, owner is nice, dogs are super friendly, enjoyed our stay here!

AUFantastic stay .. engaging, informative and helpful hosts .. felt like a home . Wonderful sunset cruise .. great value and terrific to meet lined minded travellers on the balcony overlooking the okavango river ..🙏👍

Wir haben leider das Hippo Herbert nicht gesehen, aber dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts.

ZAFriendly and helpful staff, great view of the river, braai wood supplied, well kept facilities, coffee station and fan in tents. We received a warm welcome from the owner and she made us feel at home right from the beginning and even invited us to eat with them at no extra cost. Great food and lively atmosphere at the bar.
