DE-Fantastic view over the river from the bar -Easy to reach from rundu (use the „border post“ for google maps, then follow the signs) -T-bone steak was delicious, portion for a man ;) -Everything was nice and clean

ZAWe had an elevated tent overlooking the Kovango river, needless to say a beautiful view. Though there is tents all around it is private and the comunal bathrooms where kept very clean. It was glam enough with nature still upmost. The bar area was a welcome visitspot without been intrusive and the owner and his assistant a wealth of info on the area and Angola on the opposite side of the river. Even braaiwood was supplied.

AUDEThis very well located & maintained camp on the banks of the Kavango river is a pittoresque & affordable place. They even serve breakfast and dinner (the steaks are HUGE…!). We very much enjoyed our stay!
Google maps indicated an incredibly long detour to this place (that is in easy reach, just outside von Rundu). If we had followed this advice, we would have ended up with almost 12 hours of drive, instead just 3,5 hours (from Otavi). The owner informed us, that he had tried in vain since years already to convince google maps to correct their false indication. So: Don’t trust Google maps in this very special case, if you want to access this beautiful camp!

CHThe people were exceptionally friendly, pool table was nice, tents were well equipped, atmosphere in the bar was nice, breakfast was a high point.
Limited options for dinner (though we knew this)... but not a lot else rankled at all. It's pretty seamless
