Great location, quiet, peaceful, lots of wildlife to spot, easy to find and easy self entry.

People not staying walking dogs round lake, especially when we were in hot tub, felt rather exposed. Should have insect screens on windows, didn't dare open them as so many bugs, paper blinds hopeless. Miniature bottle of wine left, one glass for two people....why bother?

very quiet, lovely view over the lake, hot tubs are clean and hot, kitchen tiny but practical, the bed is very comfy

Cobwebs around the windows and eaves could do with cleaning away. A few wasps but there was a fly squatter and wasp catcher which helped

Everything about it was perfect! From self check in, to the cleanliness, the views. The entire stay, we stayed for my partners birthday with our dog, nice visit from the cows. Beautiful views and extremely peaceful! Will be returning and will 1 million prevent recommend!

The view and tranquility. Bed is comfortable. Hot tub.

Needs blinds in the lodge, struggled to get a taxi as I was going into Kelso for a concert but luckily I eventually got one, wouldn’t have liked if none was staying in the other two lodges.

views spectacular. hot tub great. staff very helpful

didn't feel like glamorous camping. was a bit run down. toilet seat needs fixed as do window blinds. top bunk very uncomfortable mattress. I ended up going to Berwick to buy a mattress topper.

Peace and quiet

Loved the location.. loved the whole lodge bed was so comfy! Didnt want to leave. Lovely little bit of heaven ..

Lovely location, easy access and good parking, nice lake and space for the dog, well kept area, lovely lady and her son who assisted.

Cleanliness was poor, place clearly had a quick wipe down and bed change but no more than that, evidence that cleaners had been smoking or something in our seating area, seats left everywhere both usable ones and broken ones, screws lying around, cob webs expected but not that many, dead flys everywhere, dirty bath robes and towels, spoke to a lovely lady and her son who helped where they could so thank you really nice people, but no meet and greet or anything from the owner or real communication. Sadly wont return.
