The Wee Hoose

The accomodation was in a great location.

We drove up from London and arrived early evening. There was no toilet paper, no tea towels and no spare bin bags. There as a wok but no frying pan. We found that everything was very cheap and the hoover difficult to use. Although the sheets were clean, there were blood stains on the sheets on one of the beds. There was also no one on site in the office to answer our questions.

Location was fine. It was very clean & the Lounge area was spacious & comfortable.

The toilet/shower & bedrooms are tiny. Getting up at night involved much toes bumping or bouncing on the bed to get in & out waking each other up each time we went to the loo.Unfortunately the Heating didn’t work & the scant instructions offered little extra info. Despite many text exchanging we were unable to ignite the heating. ( red light suggests it was rebooting but 2 hours later it still was! It was freezing. (Tried “switching it off & on again”…tried Google etc) . Fortunately it worked next morning Unfortunately we only found out on arrival there was no terrestrial TV & we had no luck trying to log on to you tube. The paper instructions could do with extra info re the fire light small remote. The key box holder was awkward & I needed a neighbour to show how by using both hands you opened it) . Disappointing.

Location and cosy little house with good amenities. Nice quiet surroundings.

Double bed was uncomfortable and felt like you were tilting forwards. Tv didn’t work other than my own prime which only worked in spells as WiFi was super slow.

Lots to on in and around site not to far to travel the most places we like see.
