Sea Sand Sun Resort, Lanta Island

This is a lovely little resort direct on the beach. Very friendly and relaxed. I unfortunately had to cancel the first night stay because of delay, and was very surprised the owner offered me a free night stay to compensate. Which has NEVER happened to me before and was not expected, requested or even thought about by me. The place is rustic and chilled out, massage direct on the beach, a small restaurant, great fresh juices. Very convenient to walk to other places on the beach. Lovely swimming in high tide (it is a rocky beach). Best of all quiet, no loud music!

I had a little struggle with the internet. I could only use it in my room which was disappointing as I would prefer to work down by the beach if possible. I didn't find out what the problem was but during my time there it was not possible to connect to the wifi at the beach. I did use my own hotspot.

Location directly on the beach (breakfast as well!), close to main street where you can rent a motorbike to go around the island. We got an upgrade to our room, but I would recommend to book the bungalows instead, they are the best. Pool is very nice and quiet. Beach is nicely populated with bars and restaurants, good vibe

A little worn out… sun beds and restaurant are old, staff does not understand English. Breakfast is simple and could be boring after a few days

Breakfast was mid, and there was a smell in the bathroom but it was more than bearable

Really enjoyed our stay here. Found it very relaxing. Cute little bungalow with plenty of space. Comfortable beds. Right by the beach. In a quiet area. Great swimming pool. Consistent breakfast, with a selection of set meals to choose from. Long stretch of beach with plenty of nice restaurants, live music and fire shows at night.

If you’re a light sleeper, the bungalows might not be for you. But the hotel also has private rooms in a building behind the bungalows where it is better insulated You have to go a little further to swim as it gets quite rocky

Staff and manager are friendly and nice.

Beach n sea have time limit to play but swimming pool is available.

Big spacy room, great beds, powerful A/C. Everything was clean. Very friendly and nice staff. Breakfast on the beachfront. Views from the balcony.
