Stonehenge Campsite & Glamping

Pete the man that greeted us was very helpful and friendly, made us feel completely at home.

Nothing to do with property but the main road never stopped

Hosts were lovely, very accommodating and happy to help. We booked to stay in a Pod and a Yurt, both of which were decorated beautifully and very cosy. It was a windy and rainy night when we arrived, we were greeted warmly, and both the Pod and Yurt were good temperatures. Excellent facilities, the nicest bathrooms we have ever had on a campsite, so clean and comfortable, and the grounds were spotless and well kept. Location wise is perfect for visiting Stonehenge, and we also went to Longleat Safari Park from here and it was only a 35 minute drive. So overall great value for money, comfy stay, and lovely hosts, we won't hesitate to return next time we are in the area :)

Nothing we didn't like! - the mini fridge did freeze our leftover takeaway pizza, but our fault for not checking it first haha

The pub/restaurant down the road turned us away for dinner, so we feasted on nuts and crisps....be sure to reserve a table if that's your plan!

Lovely little pod with its own little garden, seating area with fire pit. The campsite is very well maintained, the ladies’ bathroom is easy to access with hot water and heater. The wardens are very friendly and helpful. Overall, a fantastic stay. I will return and I can only recommend.

De locatie

In de boeking werd vermeld ontbijt inbegrepen en Wifi. Beide waren niet aanwezig. De hygiëne van het sanitair liet te wensen over. Herensanitair was daarbij verouderd. Wasmachine buiten werking. Receptie werd waargenomen door een beheerder in caravan, die zelf nauwelijks beslissingsbevoegdheid had.
