Banchomdoi Resort PhaTang บ้านชมดอยรีสอร์ทผาตั้ง

We had the whole place to ourselves as we are the only traveller at the resort at that time. Owner was very accommodating to our request and very prompt when we informed that there was no lights and water. Lovely view. There was two (2) dogs who lived there who became our “guardian”. Super adorable and made us feel safer there as we were the only people staying at the premise. A very complete place to stay with restaurant serving food and drinks at the premise itself. Note that they were closed during our stay as it was Chinese New Year and that is completely understandable.

Toilet space a bit small.

Spent the most amazing 2 nights there. Most stunning views, from every part of the resort, room balcony included. just stared at the beauty all day.. Most attentive hosts, Breakfast was phenomenal. Doi Pha Tang a short distance away for sunrise, Phu chi fa around 20ks away for a sunset.

Usual low bathroom door to hit your head on 😒 Fridge would be nice and maybe an extra quilt for the chilly nights

The owners are lovely and try their best to accommodate any requests. it is 20 km from the Sunset Lookout and 5 km from the sunrise Lookout.

we stayed in the rooms and at night there are lights on the railing, so could not see any stars. But! I told him about it the next morning and he turned the lights out on our second night at 7 PM and it was a beautiful stunning sky display. As I said, they are accommodating.

The view was absolutely beautiful. The cool weather was lovely, and our hosts went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They even served us tea while we were playing games in the lounge. We enjoyed the very friendly dogs and cat also.

We had an older man in our group who has mobility issues, so the walk from the rooms to the dining area wasn’t easy for him. Otherwise, we loved it.

Gorgeous location looking into the valleys. Right beside some viewpoints which is why we came. The owners are so so nice and did everything to help us. Food was really great

Breakfast was great, the location overall is really nice. The host is extremely kind and sent us a map of the best way to drive beforehand.

Room hat ants and other insects in it, the bathroom looked old and uninviting.
