"Full of character"

10.0

Fabulous. Even better than the pictures. We found it cosy even in December and we had every thing we needed.Lots of thought has clearly gone into this from the themed decor to the electric blanket A real fairytale hideaway for two. Great area to visit. We enjoyed historic Ely and WWT welney marshes. It was great returning to our comfy cabin after a day exploring to sit and watch the sun setting behind the cathedral. Many wonderful memories. Thank you.

It was December and there had been a lot of rain, but the path to the cabin was very wet and muddy. Fortunately we had our walking boots. This was truly our only criticism. A more all weather path would have been better.

"Loved it - Quiet and relaxing stay"

10.0

We stayed for two nights and have had the best experience you could ever ask for from a getaway. We had all the utensils and equipment we need at the cabin and the wood burner logs we provided to us by Mad Hatters. It was a very quiet and pleasant place that we needed and had its own private porch which gave us our own space. We also liked the hospitality of the staff and how easy it was to communicate with them when we needed something.

"Lovely cabin, poor communication from the host."

7.0

Beautiful cabin with lovely finishing touches. Good kitchen facilities. Great location, close to Ely and Cambridge.

The cabin has a lovely wood burner but unfortunately we were not provided with enough kindling to keep it burning for the entire weekend. There were plenty of logs but without kindling it was impossible to light the fire. It was December and below freezing when we stayed and this made the cabin unbearably cold. We did ask the host for some more kindling but we were ignored, which resulted in a very cold night for us. The next day when we explained again about the lack of kindling and how cold it was, we were not met with the apology that we expected, instead we were told that there was enough kindling.

"An adventure"

9.0

For me and the kids it was an adventure which we all enjoyed. Facilities for showering and toilets where very good.

Being new to camping/glamping, the separate toilet block, but that is more we are not used to that aspect.

Wood burning stove Layout of main area Own private area with mown paths Flexible lighting Nice soft bedding

Electric cooker: one ring not working, and cables touching hot casing It would have been nice to have enough wood for a complete evening One bed very creaky!
